Immortal Chaos
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 FIRE monster and 1 WATER monster from your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This cards Attribute is also treated as FIRE. Your opponent cannot select this face up card on the field as an attack target. Once per turn: You can banish 1 FIRE and 1 WATER monster in your Graveyard to destroy all monsters on the field (except this card) and deal damage to your opponent equal to the combined total of all monsters destroyed by this effect x 100. You gain life equal to the damage inflicted.
Been put of the CC game for a while, so i thought I would try my skills with this one. Also, new to typing new OCG so any help there would be appreciated. Enjoy. Rates/Hates/Fixes? All Welcome.
ragnarok1945
it's not to hard to get onto the field problem is the effect pulling which requires you to mix FIRE and WATER together, not sure how often that's done in addition the burn does not appear to be huge, and neither is the LP gain
Immortal Chaos
it's not to hard to get onto the field problem is the effect pulling which requires you to mix FIRE and WATER together, not sure how often that's done in addition the burn does not appear to be huge, and neither is the LP gain
1. True, I originally wanted to make it so you had to banish 2 of each type to make it a bit harder. 2. I've seen a few Coldfire decks. I used to run one, its a fairly interesting concept if you run Ice Barrier and Laval. 3. I was torn between 500 points per level or 100, and with the way some decks run these days, people can get level 8+ monsters on the field in record time, if I had gone with 500 I feel it would have been like a 1 turn kill card, and I'm not a big fan of that kind of win personally. ragnarok1945
Well obviously I don't think 500 per monster destroyed is right but obviously unless the monsters are going into spell/trap slots too, 100 per monster destroyed I doubt will do anything more than say a 700ish burn, which isn't huge
Immortal Chaos
100 points per total combined level my friend, which means if your going against a spamming deck which will flood your opponents field with monsters, it will deal damage to your opponent for every monsters level, so if you opponent has 3 lv 4 monsters, the effect deals 1200 points of damage. That of course is assuming you dont control any other on the field at the time, if that be the case, it will deal more damage.
ragnarok1945
right well in that case then maybe you should either burn your opponent that much OR you gain the LP to that amount not both
Immortal Chaos
Much rather go with the burn then lol
Sergio Dark World General
100 its perfect, i mean destroy all monster, burn and recovering lp with medium dificullti to ut on field, i thinks is very balanced, at least its my opnion, i'd giv eit an 8.9/8.
ragnarok1945
Much rather go with the burn then lol
actually if the LP gain is like 1500 or higher, it's considered practical enough
Immortal Chaos
Very true, but Im more of a burn fan in the game, an in the true spirit of where the pic came from (Dante's Inferno) considering who its a picture of (Lucifer), it would make just a bit more sence to be a burn effect rather than an LP gainer if you follow my logic.
that's true. When it comes to burn vs. heal, most people prefer the former
Immortal Chaos
I think people go with burn over heal because there are enough healing cards (Dian Keto, Soul Absorption, Spell Absorption, Ect.) In the game and it takes time to find descent burn damage in the form of Monsters/Spells/or Traps. So therefore, burn is a bit more of a challenge and therefore more appealing. ragnarok1945
Dian Keto isn't that practical, it's only 1000 LP, and that gets used up in like 1 turn Life Absorbing Machine works better
Immortal Chaos
Touche, or if you play like I play, I do burn/gain in one turn
ragnarok1945
yeah the problem with Life Absorbing Machine is that you can't regain ALL that you lost, so it alone isn't enough
Immortal Chaos
Run 2 then haha
ragnarok1945
you have to watch out for Heavy Storm then but point is, it's easier to burn than to heal

ragnarok1945
still I think you should give the player the choice to burn or heal you never know when the latter could play its part
Immortal Chaos
Hm yes I could do that, Sounds plausable
ragnarok1945
it wouldn't be OPed because you can't have both, but it certainly increases flexibility
