Max Darkness
Just a thought that occured to me really. Probably overpowered in some form or another. Thoughts? Effect: When your opponent declares the Special Summon of a monster using a monster(s) they control: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; For the rest of this turn, it cannot be applied for your opponent's cards or effects. ragnarok1945
I'm not exactly quite sure where you're going with this, Max can you give an example first please?

Max Darkness
any real use for this?

Let Max give us an example first. I want to see one
Example 1: Your opponent Sets/Summons "Masked Dragon" and declares they will banish it to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon". You can chain this, and target "Masked Dragon", preventing your opponent from using it for "REDMD's" Summon, along with any other Special Summon. Example 2: Your opponent activates a Ritual Spell or Fusion Card, and declares the monsters they will Tribute or Fuse, and the potentially Summoned monster. You can chain this, and target one of the materials. Your opponent then has to either abort the Summon (wasting their Spell/Trap Card), or Tribute/Fuse alternate materials. In addition, your target cannot be used for a similar Summon until your opponent's turn has passed. Example 3: Your opponent Special Summons "Junk Forward", Normal Summons "Junk Synchron", Special Summons a Level 2 monster, and declares they will use all three monsters to Synchro Summon "Junk Berserker". You can chain this, and depending on which monster you target, change what your opponent can do. If you target "Junk Synchron", your opponent cannot continue, and must abort the attempt. If you target "Junk Forward", your opponent can either abort, or change their choice to a suitable Level 5 Synchro Mnoster. And if you target the Level 2 monster, again your opponent can abort, or change to Synchro Summon a Level 6 Synchro Monster or Rank 3 Xyz. Regardless, the monster you target cannot be used for any costs or Summons for that turn.
.Rai
I'm pretty sure you can't do that. Since it's a cost, the cost takes place immediately, and there's no declaration.

Max Darkness
I'm pretty sure you can't do that. Since it's a cost, the cost takes place immediately, and there's no declaration.
I was mainly working the assumption that since you often declare what your next action is (in the same way you declare whether you're ending your turn, and you can chain effects to that), you could work a chain effect into other declarations. I guess I was wrong.
And even if it worked like that, I'd rather use Bottomless. This is far too situational to be good.
Fine. Like I said, this was just an idea that popped into my head. Thanks both for your thoughts.
