When this card is sent to the Graveyard: Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.
Pretty simple, but an effective card as well. The fact that the effect is not optional actually balances it in my opinion, because if it's sent in some way and your opponent doesn't have any, you have to destroy your own, though that much is self-explanatory. Might be fun with Swallow's Nest, Enemy Controller, etc.

eh, it's nothing new

personally I still prefer Mobieus the Frost Monarch over this because it can destroy two of them

Yes, but this is reusable, and is also a Call of the Haunted/Limit Reverse/Graceful Revival/Debris Dragon/Junk Synchron target, allowing you to do all sorts of things with it.

I agree with CAN instead of MUST, I'd love to see this card with Monster Recovery and maybe Dark World Dealings to discard it. Simple yet effective; good job! 10/10

BUT, I must add that a typhoon generates at the sea, and comes with storms, so it would also fit as a WATER atribute as well.

that's true

I would still say you CAN destroy 1 spell or trap on the field, Star. That way at least it's not a MUST

Making it a "you can" would cause it to miss the timing, and making it an "If...you can" would make it somewhat broken because you could choose whether or not you wanted it to go off.

yeah but if you make it a must then what happens when there's no spells/traps on the field to destroy?

And that is still played? This card would actually see play in the meta probably, ESPECIALLY if MST went to 1 again and Heavy Storm was banned!

Nice card, Star. I like the simplicity of it, which makes it more appealing to my tastes. Also, since it is level 1, it is Mystic Piper deck material which is always good to have a decent level 1 in there. Though I can see some drawbacks if your opponent doesn't run much backrow, since it would obviously backfire on you.

I feel like you've asked me this question before, but you don't need to have anything happen if there's nothing to destroy. Just like, for example, if Wulf, Lightsworn Beast was sent from the Deck to the Graveyard, and you control 5 monsters, you just don't Special Summon him. Simple as that.
