As for Lady gaga, she's just trying so hard to be different and unique while most of her music sounds like a rehash of early/late 80's pop. In his biography "The Long Hard Road Out of Hell" he described the time he met with Anton LaVey and received his red card personally, the red card being a satanist's official certification of being a member of the Church of Satan. [/quote] Anton LaVey did make him a reverend of the Church, but it doesn't actually mean anything, and he isn't a Satanist. It just means that they respect and look up to him as LaVeyan Satanism is all about creativity, being yourself and expressing yourself. He was friends with LaVey and he found the Satanic ideals interesting but he's not one himself since both of his parents are Christians though Manson's writing is far superior than gaga's. [/quote] Lady Gaga is nothing but the new millenia's version of Madonna. She does the same thing Madonna did and no different. She is one of the most brilliant artists to come around herer since Madonna and she is not a satanist nor does it matter. Why? Because religion sucks. Nor do I care for it. I don't care if she is Satanist, Wicca, Catholic, Born Again, Orthodox, Scientologist, Jewish, Methodist, Buddhist, Muslim, Pagan, Cow Worshipping, Latter Day Saint, Hindu, or Animalistic. He music is great. Whatever I have "Tried" (and I emphasize that word) to be nice about my disproportianate taste towards religion and even then I still sound like a dick so I might as well say it the way I truly intended it. Satanism is as much of a cult as Christianity, Judaism, etc. The definition of cult, is the system of religious veneration and devotion directed towards a particular figure or object. That can be applied to any person of strong religious standings. Regarding this, I feel like I need to press on the whole Illuminati thing, as J-Max said. I feel like people associate Satanism with the Illuminati far too often. It's frankly annoying. Regardless, I find people who take too much study into conspiracy theories and Illuminati theories are just silly. Call me ignorant if you wish, I don't deny the existence of corrupt higher-ups, but I say that the concept of a group of people in the music industry planning a NWO is just annoying. Satanism has a self-entitling set of moral codes, whereas Christianity is focused on selfless values. Everyone's moral code and opinions on the world are different, and it is wrong for you to judge her for it, according to my assumption that you are Christian.
