This card returns to its owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. You can Tribute 3 monsters to Tribute Summon this card. If you do, pay 1000 Life Points; Add 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. This card cannot attack your opponent directly. When this card is destroyed, add 1 Spirit Monster from your Deck to your hand.

Zyzzyzus
Wouldn't 3 Tributes be required anyway? "When this card is Special Summoned, you can pay 1000 Life Points..." would suffice. In terms of it being a Spirit, it's somewhat redundant as Dark Dust Spirit already covers face-up monster removal, and Asura Priest has almost the same effect. Spirit Monsters can't be Special Summoned. And no it wouldn't, you tribute only using 2 monsters but you would lose out on the Spell Card retrieval effect. Yeah, Asura Priest is similar but this is like Asura Priest on steroids with more bonuses.
Zyzzyzus
Sorry, I meant "Tribute Summon" but typed "Special Summon". Also, I realize that I have been wrong all this time about Level 9+ monsters needing 3 Tributes regardless of effect...

DARKPLANT RISING
OKAY............. the animation on your posts freaked me theFU*K out...... decent card........ except its a spirit monster.... and they suck
They don't. Use them the right way before assuming. OT: Okay, so this doesn't look like a Spirit, but IDK. Anyhow, let's talk about use of this card in Frog Spiritnarchs (this wouldn't go in normal Frognarchs, given they use Soul Exchange often). Given Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi exists, it's prolly the worse option as a two-tributer, so say no to that. As a three-tributer, there's Obelisk to fight. And this's got to be way better than Obelisk, 'cause Spirits don't run Obelisk. Obelisk or this, which is better - it's a tough choice, but ultimately I say Obelisk. The only real way for Frog Spiritnarchs to get out 3 tributes is Treeborn + Ronintoadin + Battle Fader/Enemy Controller. If you use Enemy Controller, it's pure anti-synergy with this card, and it becomes better to use Obelisk, so Fader is the only way in which this is superior. Obelisk got some major damage from TT going to 2, but the fact still remains it's still nearly invincible outside that and Dark Hole. Trish gone means it lost its worst enemy, too. Another problem with this card is the fact that once you use it once, it loses most meaning 'cause the opponent loses most of his monsters. Okay, so returning that Heavy Storm or Enemy Controller is sure juicy, but it's pretty damn hard to get this out over twice. Also, rather annoyingly, it's not Level 8; you can't use Trade-In after its job is over. Hino is worthless once you attack it with once, just like this, but after it kills the opponent you can use it as Draw Power. This can't do that. On the note of Dark Dust Spirit - I only run 1 copy of that card right now. It's not as good as people think on first sight. Anti-synergy with Hino, the boss of the deck. tl;dr this card is bad in Frog Spiritnarchs, and it's not to be used in any other decks either. Okay, so what's this thing's problem? The answer: the fact it's too heavy. If you want to keep this thing's current status as the ultimate boss that requires 3 tributes, that's fine by me, but if I were you I'd make it Level 8 and neg the 3-tribute-part. If you're worried about the Spell-recovering, I don't think many inf loops can be based around a two-tribute-requiring boss monster. Besides, Frog-Monarchs need a boss besides the flaming giant. If Konami printed that version, I'd gladly run it alongside aforementioned Hino in Frog Spiritnarchs. Right now it's meh. But I like the concept. Yes, I think I am going to reduce it's level to 8 for Trade-In bait. However, the thing I was worried about was what you mentioned, it would be to easy to get out at 2 tributes, but I guess you are right in the fact that this would only really be played in Frog Spiritnarchs (Which sounds fairly fun!) Maybe I will change it so you don't need the 3 tributes to get the Spell Card back, but should I keep the Asura Priest like effect on it? I wasn't sure about it at first.
