Piquant King - Ambrosia

Northern Sage

I wanted to create something similar to Eatos to support Madolce, thus the food theme. (Ambrosia is both in Greek Mythology the food and drinks the gods ate and drank to gain immortality, and a dessert fruit salad.) Enough with the theme, the main focus of this card is beatstick and destruction because that is what it needs.

And thus, the card:
If you have no monsters in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is sent to the Graveyard (by battle or by an opponent's card effect): Shuffle it into your deck instead. Once per turn: You can activate 1 of the following effects:
*Pay 800 Life Points; Return all monsters in your Graveyard to the deck, then draw 1 card.
*Banish up to 3 monsters in your opponent's Graveyard; Destroy 2 cards your opponent controls. This card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect.
Nice card. It has some useful anti-meta elements like graveyard decimation on the 2nd 'Once per turn' effect. The 1st 'Once per turn' effect also helps make the card more self sufficient, but allowing it to be SS'd later on in a duel with some decks instead of just getting lucky early on then otherwise being a dead draw.

Seems balanced since the SS can only be done circumstancially, I like it. Although, the picture lacks presence of food. :D

Thanks for the comment.
I just got some candy associations from the pic for some reason.

I didn't even read the rest of the text and immediately thought Cupcake Crew (my name for Madolce)

Anyway, I'd say that the first thing to think about is how effective will either of the effects be?

First: You're summoning it with no monsters in the grave so that greatly reduces the use of this effect, still, it shouldn't be too tough to do so, and if you do, you can just use the Madolce's field to add the card to your hand to do it again. It's essentially a +2 in disguise.

Second: Once per turn, for no cost, blow up 2 cards your opponent controls. Nice. I suggest making it so that you must destroy 2 that your Opponent controls, not "up to".
