Death from the Produce Aisle!

It's funny how under-recognized Plant monsters are in the Yu-Gi-Oh pantheon. They're right up there with Sea Serpents in ignored-ness. The only major anime character that uses Plants is Akiza (5D's), so far as I know. I'm a bit of a rivethead myself, but I figured I'd make a few cards to give the veggies some support. Strangely, the inspiration came from a Monty Python sketch (Episode 34, "The Cycling Tour", if you want to see it yourself).

The idea behind these cards it to swarm the field in face-down Defense Position. If your opponent doesn't wipe them out with destruction effects (which, granted, is pretty easy), they'll have to choose between 1 of them when attacking, like 3-card monte. "Self-Ejecting Tomato" is the "money" card, in that your opponent doesn't suffer any ill effects. "Hot Potato" and "Rocketbaga", on the other hand...

This card is the "safe" card; your opponent doesn't take any negative effects from this. However, it's probably better used to chain into "Divine Wind of Mist Valley".

FLIP: Send this card to your opponent's hand. As long as this card is in a player's hand, the controller must pay 750 Life Points and discard 2 cards from their hand during their Standby Phase.
0/500
As the name implies, you do not want this in your hand for too long. Of course, your opponent will likely try to summon it again at the first chance they get. Combine this with some sort of lockdown to steadily burn/mill your opponent.

FLIP: Send this card to the Graveyard. Destroy all cards on your opponent's side of the field in the same column as this card. If your opponent has no cards in the same column as this card, destroy this card and inflict 750 damage to your opponent's Life Points.

This is, for all intents and purposes, a baby "Supernova Remnant: Neutron Pulsar" (http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/250003-supernova-remnants/). You could also think of it as a more powerful, albeit less versatile, "Man-Eater Bug". If you're feeling a little devious, you could use "Self-Ejecting Tomato" with "Divine Wind of Mist Valley" to summon this more easily.

Both players can Normal Summon up to 3 Level 3 or lower Plant-type monsters during their Main Phase.
I'm probably going to receive a lot of flak for this one. It's meant to set up the 3-card monte thing more quickly, but it's pretty abusable overall. I just couldn't think of a good cost for it.
