The point behind these cards was to take aspects of a generic rpg (class, levels, skills). The gameplay, as far as I can tell, will be pretty fast-paced. The main focus of the deck is to level up your monsters, while allowing them to learn (pull from the deck) and use new skills.

When this card does damage to your opponent, you can search your deck for an "Arrow" Spell card and add it to your hand. During your Standby Phase, you can send this face-up card from the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Archer LV5" from your hand or Deck.

When this card is Summoned by the Effect of "Archer LV3", search your deck for an "Arrow" Spell Card, and add it to your hand. During the End Phase of the turn this card destroys a monster, you can send this face-up card from the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Archer LV7" from your hand or Deck.

This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Once per turn, if this card declares an attack, you can search your deck for an "Arrow" Spell Card and add it to your hand. If the Card Pulled by this effect is a Quick-Play Spell, you may activate it immediately.

Each of your standby phases you gain 500 Life Points. When your total Life Point gain from this card equals a multiple of 1000 you may search your deck for 1 "Holy" Spell Card and add it to your hand. When The total amount of Life Points given by this card reaches 5000 or more, you can send this face-up card to the graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Cleric LV9" from your hand or Deck. When this card leaves the field, all totals are reset to 0.

This card can only be summoned by the effect of "Cleric LV2". If this card is put into attack position, change it to defense position. This card cannot be destroyed or banished by the effects of Spell Cards, Trap Cards, or Effect Monsters. Any damage dealt to your Life Points is halved. Any "LV" monsters destroyed by battle are shuffled back into your deck.

If this card is attacked while in defense position, you may search your deck for one "Royal Command" Spell or Trap Card and add it to your hand. When this card deals damage to the opponent while in defense position,you can send this face-up card from the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Knight LV8" from your hand or Deck.

This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. When this card is attacked by an opponent's monster you may search your deck for one "Royal Command" Spell or Trap Card and add it to your hand. If The Card pulled by this effect is a Quick-Play Spell, you may activate it immediately.

If this monster declares an attack, you can search your deck for a "Mage-Scroll" Spell Card and add it to your hand. At the End Phase of a turn in which this monster destroys two non-token monsters, you can send this face-up card from the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Mage LV8" from your hand or Deck.

This card can only be summoned by the effect of "Mage LV6". Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you may search your deck for one "Mage-Scroll" Spell Card and add it to your hand.

Select a face-up "Mage" monster you control. Until the end of the turn, if the selected monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle it can attack again in a row.

This card can only be activated while you have a face-up "Mage" monster on your side of the field. Summon up to three "Flamespawn Token" (Pyro-Type/FIRE/LEVEL 1/ATK 200/DEF 500) to your side of the field in face-up defense position.

Select one monster on the opponent's side of the field. change it's battle position.

Select a face-up "Knight" monster you control. Until the end of your next turn, no monsters you control except the selected card can be targeted by the attacks of your opponent's monsters.

Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack, change the attack target to a "Knight" monster you control.

Select a face-up "Knight" monster you control. Until the end of the turn, switch the selected card's ATK and DEF.

Select a face-up "Knight" monster you control. Until the end of the turn, the selected monster can attack while in defense position.

This card can only be played if you have a face-up "Archer" monster of Level 5 or greater. Select one face-up monster controlled by your opponent with equal or less attack than an "Archer" monster you control OR Select One face-up trap card on your opponents side of the field. Destroy the selected Card.

The cards all look good, and they are well balanced, except for the higher level mages attack, but that is off setted by it's very low defence(s). [Edit:] While the Lv4's attack power is at a common level, the Lv6's attack is rather high for a 6. Something you could do to balance it better would be to lower it to 2550 - 2700, if you still want it to be higher than the avarage Lv 6 'attacking' monsters, ie: Summoned Skull.

All in all, it looks good. Just can't wait for photobucket to start working so we can see the artwork.

Besides the obvious connection, are there any cards that work when you have one of each "team" member on the field? Or any other sort of connection between them?
