Though I believe is a nice card for casual decks. Iffy on the fact that it doesn't have a self-special summon clause or something like that. [/quote] well it stops most OTK's I guess (except for burn), Although of course there are better alternatives.. I didn't have any use in mind while making it... I think in an Agent build with The Santcuary in the sky it gives you some good protection though. While the sanctuary is on the field, you don't take battle damage from battles involving fairies, and while this is in your graveyard - you have somewhat of a good protection against direct attacks. But the things is it needs to stay in the grave. And Hyperion likes to eat fairies.. So maybe I should change the effect to be active only while it is banished. And while it's in the Graveyard I can give it an effect such as : you can tribute 1 Fairy-Type monster your control to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. Anywho, I say it's a fairly nice card for many, many reasons. To start off, it makes a solid 1800 which can help early in the game. Second is it being a Level 2 Tuner, which once on the field (most likely in Defense), you can drop say a Level 4 for a Level 6 such as Brionac that can help you for quite a long time if you get it out early and can defend it. Third being how it can counter OTK's while it's in your Graveyard be reducing the damage from one ATK from possibly a whopping 2800 to a mere 1000; which could be life saving. The final bit being how it's a LIGHT ATTRIBUTE!! This means while it's in your Graveyard it can make for CHAOS FODDER FOR BLS OR CHAOS SORCERER :DDDD My concern is how you can constantly reduce the damage from an attack again and again in one turn; so possibly make it so you can only use that effect once per turn while it's in the Graveyard? That way you can increase the odds of taking less damage just by milling / dumping more of these into the Graveyard, reducing the possible damage you can take in a turn to 3000 from say 4000+, which is pretty nice. The once per turn clause does make it better I think, since then you'd have to actually think which damage to make 1000. how about the previous fix I suggested though? To have that effect while banished instead of being in the Graveyard. Because then you'd benefit from summoning Chaos Sorcerer/BLS etc. (if we're talking Chaos); from Hyperion's effect etc. etc. Also, I can try giving it some self-SS-ing effect while in the Graveyard that would actually help Synchro summoning. Anbu-of-Sand Posted April 11, 2012 Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 I thought about the Banish thing to give it a Necro Gardna feel, but then it wouldn't work with Chaos Sorcerer / BLS If it's for the good of the card though you can add it in.
