ListenToLife Posted May 7, 2012 Report Share Posted May 7, 2012 I disagree with how easy these legendaries are being captuured, but it is by the admins, which is understandable. Sort of. Although, even then it should be quite difficult. I dont like how fast we're going through them. However, it does depend on the legendary. The trio's should be much easier to catch, and the eon duo shouldn't be/aren't that hard. It's the main legendaries that should be incredibly difficult. S only caught Zekrom after all his pokémon were knocked out. My character, who is the Johto League champion, and is stronger than the Kanto and Sinnoh league champions(Other leagues unknown) only managed a tie with Lugia, with a full team. Main legendaries will take a large and powerful team, and probably many attempts. By the way, does anyone else have the glitch where when you try to post, the box is covered up? The Regis and the Eon duo aren't hard to catch in the games, so that's why it was so easy for K to obtain them. Then again we do make it seem like catching Legends are like catching Budews. As far as I'm aware, the only other person who's legend's capture was described IC was S, and all his pokémon went unconcious. Meanwhile, you captured both the Eon duo, with little more than a Raichu with pink glasses. Oh, how I want to kick that Raichu's arse. Garchomp willl eat it! (The Raichu of course. Not its butt. AkatsukiPride! Posted May 7, 2012 Report Share Posted May 7, 2012 It is kind of weird how fast legends are popping up and being captured. But so far, it can all be justified. Regi's and Eons aren't so hard to catch, and S did have a really hard time capturing Zekrom. Victini will never be caught by Archer, and he's only there as an ally. I might have Archer use him later. And by later, I mean close to the finals. Genesect and Deoxys are not going to be captured. Deoxys is really powerful, and Genesect is close up there too. So far, only legendary W is going to actually capture is Giratina, and that'll probably be after a really long battle and then mind control. Somehow, he'll do that. And he's also [i]creating[/i] DX-II/A Deoxys Clone, and that takes a lot of work. Those are my justifications. So no trainer should catch a legendary until really close to the finals, and they'll probably only use them versus Genesis or in times of severe distress. Reshiram should prove very hard to catch. After all, he's Zekrom's equal. Lugia shouldn't be that hard for KC's character, since he'd a champion and Lapras is totally super-powerful. And I want to pummel Pink-Sunglasses-Raichu to a total pulp as well. With both Archer and W. Absol want revenge, and W just doesn't like K. Brinolovania Posted May 7, 2012 Report Share Posted May 7, 2012 S might not have gotten beat up so much, but Zekrom was spamming Thunder moves against his Flying-types, and he had to deal with Caldus's other Pokemon, and Deoxys and Genesect at the end. [/quote] K is going to pawn the Groundon mission off on another admin. She'll be too busy with Team Rocket. Also, there should be a select few legends who don't get captured by Genesis, Mew and Mewtwo being two of them. Each lord has one and only uses them in times if severe distress or while facing a really powerful trainer. @Kotomi: You know Archer wants revenge. And W doesn't really like anybody. We get antsy. >:] And V and K just hate each other. V would love to see her squirm. Anyway, Lugia's still going to be a challenge for Aaron. He's faced a Lugia before(I dont know whether I'll make it the same one) about 2 years ago - during his reign as Champ - and only got a draw. And that was with his full uber team as champ. This time he'll have about 5 pokémon, including Lapras, and they wont be incredibly strong. (I plan on having a Croconaw/Feraligator, a Quagsire, a Seadra and a Lotad, along with Uber Lapras. I'm going to be doomed vs a Electric&Grass Tag Team.) EDIT Pawn it off on V. V hasn't done anythhing yet, so it'd be good for him to get some exercise. But I think Quagsire + Uber-Lapras will make a decent defence against it. Ice>Grass and Ground>Electricity after all. But yeah, I think after X, K is Aaron's biggest problem. I'd say we've got about 3-4 IC hours of Lapras travel before we get to the castle, so there'd be enough time. How many posts do people want before we arrive at the castle? He'll be going by land, of course. EDIT: Realized that Smith is actually lower ranking than W's other guys.
