Zektor
Ok, so here's a little info on why I'm doing this. A lot of Archtypes from Hidden Arsenal are getting Xyz support. For example, X-sabers, All the new archtypes, etc. So I made two cards to help dragunities in Xyz summoning rank 2's. It will also make them able to synchro for level 4. So here are the cards: 2 Level 2 "Dragunity" Monsters Must be Xyz summoned with 1 Winged Beast and 1 Dragon monster. Once per turn, you can detach one Xyz material to Special Summon 1 Dragunity Monster (from the Hand or Graveyard), this Summon is treated as a Normal Summon. If a Synchro Monster using a Dragunity monster as a tuner would be destroyed, you can detach both Xyz materials from this card. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select 1 Level 3 or lower Dragon-Type "Dragunity" monster in your Graveyard and equip it as an Equip Card to this card. While this card is equipped with a "Dragunity" monster, this card gains 1000 attack. You can send 1 "Dragunity" Monster equipped to this card to negate the activation of a Spell/Trap. Rate/Hate EDIT: Can't get the images to work so I'll just post it as links. Love of Ghibli
I like the second monster its very good in terms of dragunity theme. The xyz monster however seems to make himself pointless by making his special summon a normal summon. It would be cool to detach a phalanx to get that same phalanx which would make the xyz almost free but if you're just going to normal a phalanx then why go through the trouble of bringing the xyz out in the first place? I would simply say detach to special a dragunity monster.
Zektor
Thanks, on the second monster, as for the Xyz, I meant for you to be able to SS a legionnare/dux and still get its effect because its being Normaled, even though this doesnt count as your 1 normal summon. So, you SS a monster treated as a normal even though you still get a normal summon, so this alows you to detach phalanx/aklys to summon legionnare or Dux and still get it effects make snese? the_gus14
The only thing that would legitimately make Dragunities better is if their equipping condition was once per turn instead of only when they're NORMAL summoned. But as far as how they run right now, the second monster seems right in place. I've built a new set of Dragunity cards, called "Phoenix Dragunity" they have the ability to equip from the hand and graveyard (similar to Inzektors) and the ones named after Dux, Phalanx, etc. have their names treated as such (so that way you cant have 6 phalanxes.) Also the Phalanx can't be banished, which is Phalanx's (and dragunities) glaring weakness, DD Crow and Chain Disappearance.
