Master Hyperion
Because I found them interesting but I always end up in a dead alley when building the deck. And 42 cards because blergh
werewolfjedi
yeah the deck is absurdly hard to work with,I wonder what konami had in mind. anyway, I made a citadel style one as well, but I'm running a lot more creatures than you. werewolfjedi
ok, THIS build is working amazingly well. haven't gone against the tier one yet, but monarchs and dragons can't seem to handle it at least so far. Agro
Step 1: Only run the following Magical monsters: Junon, Temper, and Batel. Step 2: Don't run Hygromantei. Step 3: Hand Traps, Gorz, Staples. Step 4: CHAOS CONTROLYou may also consider Apprentice Magician.
SpectralMaliceX
Step 5: run a fortune lady or two as beaters. Step 6: consider all your support well. As for the guy asking what Konami were thinking, think banlist.
werewolfjedi
Step 1: Only run the following Magical monsters: Junon, Temper, and Batel.
hygromantel has been doing a lot of good work though, and has allowed me to keep the books going, but charion is kinda useless going to repace with 3 hand traps, likely 2 veilers and a gorz ,forse though has been WONDERFUL on keeping the decking flowing. without him the deck slows down, with him I keep it going. also, as a joke, I started using metiaon as well, and I was surprised, at how well it saved my ass. course, in this deck, that might be from the fact no one sees it coming. it's gonna be in side, cause it works, and who knows how else it can help. I will continue experimenting.and on another note, my build doesn't just focus on the magicals, I have a multi faceted style of gameplay going, the citadel gets flooded with counters often, allowing me to use endymon multiple times, sometimes twice in one turn with a haron play

Snilly
This archetype is really fun. Not that hard to work with. Probably won't beat high tier decks. Here's the build I use. Breaker is good for backrow removal. The only good books are grim, hygro, and necro imo. Apprentice magician is too slow.
