Since dice and coin flips are rarely/never used in the meta, I thought this would be a fun little tech for some fun little cards that barely anyone uses.

Also, the closest this could get to competitive play is when used with Snipe Hunter. But 1 card alone won't make this consistent.

In my opinion, this would give Archfiends and those lucksack-y spell/ trap cards a bit more playability and add in a lot more fun. Now you would have a legitimate excuse to run Graceful Dice too (lol). This gives the bad, seemingly useless cards a second chance at being played. As this is a boss monster, you can tech it in any deck that runs at least 2 different cards that use dice for their effects and have that deck become both fun and aggressive.

I believe this would be a nice card, which, even with such an overpowered effect, wouldn't hurt or change the metagame in any way.
It'd only make fun decks more fun, more playable and more aggressive.

So comment/rate/love/hate/suggest/fix

Archfiends wouldn't use this. They don't roll dice.

Can't say it's good design, even if it doesn't have a profound effect on the meta. Gamble decks are already lucksacky, they don't need mother card giving them random chances to win out of nowhere. You could easily get this out every turn when it doesn't die.

Fun is a very subjective word here.

uuuuuh, yes they do.
All the Chess Archfiends (terrorking, shadowknight, vilepawn etc.), also Skull Archfiend of Lightning etc etc..

and what's wrong with giving them chances to win if it doesn't affect the metagame?
It's exactly because gamble decks are lucksacky and inconsistent that a more consistent card is needed for them to be played more.

Chess Archfiends only use about 4 monsters, and one of them is used as a Tour Guide target, another is just a beatstick, one is an Infernity and the last is a Normal monster.

You can tech Infernalqueen or Terrorking but that's it.

What's wrong? The metagame does not define YGO. Casual play exists as well. Sadly, this just harms the game because it's bad design. It promotes one mechanic far too much (and, at that, a very badly made mechanic from Konami).

I'd happily side 3 Snipe Hunter and this, if it means casually stealing stuff every ten seconds though. Especially if you're playing Inzektors where you don't even care about the discard.

That last point of yours is so redundant. If they're lucksacky and inconsistent, they should have never been made in the first place. The sheer nature that a card involves a lot of luck means it shouldn't have been designed. Promoting cards that shouldn't really exist is just plain weird.
