RBY Posted April 24, 2012 Report Share Posted April 24, 2012 Here are some cards I made based on Shendu from Jackie Chan Adventures. I'm working on more, but this is what I've done so far. I tried to translate Shendu's powers and weaknesses into the card effects. [spoiler='Sealed Demon - Shendu'][img]http://i45.tinypic.com/21mrz9s.jpg[/img] Effect: There can only be one card with Shendu in its name on the Field. This card cannot Attack your Opponent's Life Points directly. Place one Talisman Counter (max 12) on this card during each of your Standby Phases. Once per turn during your Main Phase, you may remove one Talisman Counter to Special Summon one "Shadowkhan" from your Hand or Deck. When there are twelve Talisman Counters on this card, banish this card and Special Summon one "Demon King Shendu" from your Hand, or Deck.[/spoiler] This version of Shendu is immobile, but could still use fire breathe so I tried to simulate that by giving it a limited ability to attack. [spoiler='Astral Spirit - Shendu'][img]http://i48.tinypic.com/2u765uw.jpg[/img] Effect: There can only be one card with Shendu in its name on the Field. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by card effects that specifically allow it. This card cannot be an Attack target by your Opponent's Monster. Once per turn during your Main Phase, you may equip this card to any Face-Up monster. Control of that monster will shift to you until the End Phase. [/spoiler] This version of Shendu was able to possess others so I decided to make it a Union monster. Once per turn during your Standby Phase you may place one Talisman Counter on this card (max 12). When there are 12 Talisman Counters on this card, Tribute it and Special Summon one "Demon King Shendu" from your Hand or Deck. During your Main Phase you may remove Talisman Counters to activate the following Effects: -1:Talisman Counter to Special Summon one "Shadowkhan" from your Hand or Deck -2:Talisman Counters to Special Summon one "Dragon Minion" from your Hand or Deck.[/spoiler] This is Shendu when he has his material body, but lacks the powers of the Talismans. [spoiler='Demon King Shendu'][img]http://i46.tinypic.com/34evkus.jpg[/img] Effect: There can only be one card with Shendu in its name on the Field. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effects of "Sealed Demon - Shendu" or "Shendu the Fire Demon." When this card is Summoned successfully, place 12 Talisman Counters it. Once per turn you may place one Talisman Counter on this card (max 12). This card cannot be Destroyed by battle. This card cannot be targeted by card Effects. You may change this card's Class and/or Attribute during both of you Main Phases. You may change this card's battle position during your opponent's Battle Phase. Once per turn you may remove Talisman Counters to do the following: -1:Special Summon one "Shadowkhan" from your Hand or Deck. -2:Special Summon one "Dragon Minion" from your Hand or Deck. -3:Banish this card to Special Summon one "Astral Spirit - Shendu" from your Hand, Deck or Graveyard. During the End Phase of the turn this effect was activated, send "Astral Spirit Shendu" to the Graveyard and Special Summon this card and place 12 Talisman Counters on it. -4:Banish this card to Special Summon one Yin token (Level 6/Light/Dragon) and one Yang token (Level 6/Dark/Dragon) to the Field. Each token will have half of this card's Attack and Defense. During your Main Phase, you may tribute both tokens to Special Summon this card from out of play and place 12 Talisman Counters on it. -5:Reveal one of your Opponent's Face Down cards (Flip Effects do not activate). -Remove any number to increase your Life Points by 500x the number removed. -Remove any number to Special Summon one Golem Token (Rock/Earth) whose level is equal to the number of Counters removed and whose Attack and Defense equal the Counters removed x500. The Token will be Destroyed if "Demon King Shendu" leaves the field in any way. Whenever this card has less than 12 Talisman Counters on it, this card loses 100 Attack and Defense for every Talisman Counter removed. When there are no Talisman Counters on this card, shuffle it into your Deck and Special Summon one "Shendu the Fire Demon" from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard.[/spoiler] This is Shendu in his ultimate form with all 12 talismans. I tried to incorporate all the talisman powers in its effects. You may Special Summon this card be Tributing "Dark Hand - Valmont" equipped with "Astral Spirit - Shendu". RBY Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 28, 2012 These cards are mainly meant to support Shendu, I'm thinking about doing the other Demon Sorcerers later, and Drago seemed more independent of his father, so I'll probably do him when I make them. However, I think Drago the Fire Demon would be a better name for his base form because having Shendu in his name would mean that he couldn't be on the field with his father.
