I'm not going to say this is old news, because it only just got public attention.
I'm not going to say we need to stop this, because it is dangerous to both privacy and the economics.

But what I am going to say that the goverment needs to stop feeding the American media industry money and those companies need to get off their high horse and adjust their business plans on how to promote their products. Face it, the service the older American media industry hasn't either aged well, got worse over the years or is just became complete crap, because they cannot, no, aren't willing to provide better services then the pirates can do. Laws like this and SOPA/PIPA are made so that the American media industry can continue to control the multimedia, acting like a middle person between the artist and the consumer, while they can either decline an artists idea, or gain all the rights of the owner of the orginal product made by the artist, while the artist loses all of the rights to it. This isn't helping the economics, this is just fighting your own customers and eventually driving them away from yourself.

I'm suprised that the online companies like Google, Ebay and Steam haven't moved out of that country yet and other continents didn't just cut of the internet with America altogether :s

We? As in YCM? Uh...nothi-wait! Is that ridge-country still up for sale?

Anyway, nobody will pass this during an election year, otherwise any newcomer has an easy win.
