I'm thinking that they should be able to be used together, but if ever a real deck were to be made, they would probably do better separately supporting different decks rather than all being played in one deck. Love of Ghibli Posted May 9, 2012 Report Share Posted May 9, 2012 I don't really understand Nu, Tau, and Electra that well but I will say that for the two quarks you do not specify where the two monster have to be special summoned from and I think if it is anywhere but the hand then those two cards come across pretty broken. Other than that from what I understand set the seems fine. [/quote] Their effects don't allow a Special Summon, it only specifies that if you can't Special Summon 2 more, then they are banished. Say you've 2 Unities and 1 Division in your hand, as well as 2 more Divisions in Banished Zone. If you Normal Summon Division, and have the other 2 Unities in your hand, you could Summon all of them, but both Unities would be banished since Division doesn't have an effect that Special Summons itself while banished. Electra, Mu, and Tau need another copy of themselves to apply their primary Special Summon effect. In ordinary cases, for 1 of them to be Light and the other Dark, you need one of them to be treated as a Normal Summon and the other as a Special Summon, then they auto-annihilate and produce photons (or rather, Light monsters).
