Other cards probably are capable of doing it better, but it's hard to tell in a custom card environment. Siege Leader may stop the loop for a turn, but if you do it near the end of the loop, you're basically giving yourself a turn. Do it early in the loop, and you kinda waste its potential anyway. Ethereal Rend is terrible, terrible design. Cards that are designed that actively punish something your opponent playing in a specific way has always been bad design. Konami have done it a few times. Stuff like Puppet Plant and Electric Virus are cute and balanced, but bad design anyway, made only for flavour reasons. And Epiphany, well, it's probably gonna be sided everywhere, banned immediately for causing a dominance of power and utterly wrecking most decks in the entire format. I'm completely unsure on how it interacts with Rabbit summons, due to the simultaneous summoning there (which, if so, makes the card totally useless against Rabbit anyway). Still, totally unfair that it utterly lols at anything running multiple monsters at 3 (i.e. literally every single tier deck). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
