.:Blu:.
Lore: 2 Level 8 monsters This card gains 1000 ATK for every Xyz Material attached to it. Once per turn, if this card destroys a non-Machine-Type monster: Attach that monster to this card as an Xyz Material. During your Main Phase: You can detach all Xyz Materials from this card; destroy all cards on the field except this card. After this effect resolves: This card cannot declare an attack or change its Battle Position until the end of your next turn. So this card is the Ace of a new set I'm (hopefully) making revolving around an archetype called "Aztech". It has an Aztec theme combined with machines hence the name. I wanted to create this card largely for field control. The Aztech archetype is focused on swarming low level machines and them monsters of the archetype are fairly weak when it comes to ATK. That's why eliminating threats on the field is necessary and that's where this card comes in. The main effect of this card was inspired from Thunder End Dragon, but here it's much more potent as it destroys spells and traps as well, handy against lockdowns. However, getting rid of just one Xyz Material would be too advantageous for the controller of this card that is why I added that all Xyz Materials must be detached and that this monster is basically vulnerable after using up its effect. As a final note, my OCG is quite rusty, it's been awhile since I've made cards xP
TheKaitoKid
Your OCG is superb, in fact. As for the monster, the art is lovely and the concept is fairly cool. I think you're trying to restrict it too much though. After clearing the field you're completely open to getting demolished by your opponent and since he has no ATK points with no materials, restricting his attacks is moot. And say there were a monster to attack, he'd have to manage to kill it [with all 0 of his ATK points] at which point he'd only have 1000 ATK. He's actually pretty balanced even without the last line. The last line kind of turns me off to it. I can't wait to see the rest of the set.
.:Blu:.
I was afraid he would be a bit OP without the last line but I see your argument. Yeah, I should remove that whole last line.

Astolfo
@Dylan: Stop spamming like that please. @Blu: OMFG. Haihaihai Blu~ As for the review: *drools* ASDFGHASFSGASDF This card is simply put, amazing. The art is amazing (just realized halfway through writing the review that the dragon monster is sucking energy out of some creature in its coils), and a fitting name as well. The Rank 8 makes me think of Dark Worlds *shotgunned*. But yes, Dark Worlds are probably the most consistent Rank 8 spammer as of now I'd say, because the Hieratic version for Rank 8s are iffy, to say anything. The beginning 2000 ATK is simple, but considering the rest of the effect, it's fine. The non-Machine clause could be broken though, as it means most cards as of now besides things like Geargias or such are easily "absorbable" by this card, instantly raising it into a 3000 beater. You could keep going, increasing its ATK tremendously, protecting it from things like Dark Hole or such. The second effect of a Final Destiny likened effect, but protecting itself, in my opinion won't be used often, as it creates an opening for the Xyz Monster to get slayed easily. That could however, be a perfect back-up in the case in late game, if the opponent's gaining advantage, enough to get worrisome though. Or if you're in trouble already, and can't kill any of your opponent's monsters or such with the 2000 ATK, and you can manage to summon this card without having its Summon negated, getting it destroyed, or banished, you could use it as a Black Rose like card, nuking your opponent, and wiping the field clean, to start regaining advantage. However, the only detracting factor of this card is its last clause of being unable to attack, but more importantly, being unable to change battle position. I could see it being a balance to the rest of its powerful effect, because if you decide to nuke, then it leaves hope for the opponent to be able to get rid of the monster. Also, along with getting destroyed, if your opponent uses a deck that can recover from a nuke like that even decently quickly, you could be facing an end almost as soon as you thought you finished it, to get a fresh start on the opponent. So my opinion on the last effect is mixed. It leads to a good enough balance, but the restriction on being unable to change its battle position puts me off slightly, although it's nowhere enough to make me not want to use this card, if it was real. In my opinion, you should keep the unable to attack (fair enough, because you probably won't decide to attack anyway at a low ATK stat at that time), but remove the part of being unable to change battle positions, as if you decide to use that effect, your opponent being able to destroy it is fair enough. Or if you decide to keep that particular clause, you can make it so any (battle/piercing) damage is halved until the end of your next turn as well. This would be a card I'd love to see be made real like this, without any more buffs or nerfs. This would also be a partial factor why I would want to use something like YVD, but also why I wouldn't. In YVD, amazing cards like this could be used as if real, but this means there will be lots of unfamiliar cards you may not know that exist, which would put you at a disadvantage. Anyways, once again, wonderful card Blu. Also, remembered to state here, your OCG is professional, and this idea you had going is spectacular. If this becomes a set, I hope to see the rest of it, and maybe support, although this card alone would be a great supplement to decks - such as Dark Worlds, for example. Final Rating: Out of 10, this gets an easy 15.
.:Blu:.
Now that is one professional review... I always love reading reviews of that depth so thank you .nova I totally agree with you on your points. I thought the same as you of just taking out the not being able to change battle positions effect. That seems the most fair. I'm still a bit of unsure as to whether I should keep the effect of it not being able to attack. It seems unnecessary. I'll be sure to include an updated version of this card with my set when I release it. As for the OCG, I really thought I made mistakes but it seems everybody so far has disagree ^^
jaster_rogue
Really interesting, the picture fits flawlessly with the card in it self, the effect sounds good I like cards that increase their attack and destroying every card on the field is something I always loved, very nice card for sure
