Sheild are a group of mostly psychic monster type cards that work by playing monsters to the spell or trap card zone and then either useing there efects or useing them to summon more powerful sheild type cards. There are four types of sheild cards all differing by there effects Sheilds all have the following effect: This card cannot be Set. This card cannot only be normal Summoned if there is at least one shield type monster in your spell and trap card zone. This card can be placed into the magic and trap card zone as a continuous spell card, this counts as a normal summon. most then gain a number of shield counter which they can remove for there effects. There also "rechargable", other cards can put a shield token on them for them to use there effects, again and again. This card cannot only be normal Summoned if there is at least one shield type monster in your spell and trap card zone. This card can be placed into the magic and trap card zone as a continuous spell card, this counts as a normal summon. When this card is placed in the spell and trap card zone it gains a shield counter. When this card is a spell card it has the following effect. By removing one Shield token from this card you can negate one attack per turn. All Bastion type have the effect saying: This card cannot be Set. This card can only be normal Summoned if there is at least one shield type monster in your spell and trap card zone. This card can be placed into the magic and trap card zone face down as a countious trap card. This card can only be flipped face up to activate it effect. there are support cards that allow monsters to be summoned to the battle zone after there effect resovles, or be flipped face down again. This card can be placed into the magic and trap card zone face down as a continuous trap card if this card is played face up in your spell and trap card zone it counts as a normal summon. When this card is a face down trap card you can activate this card when a monsters attacked. Summon this monster to your side of the field. It then becomes the target of the attack. At the end of the battle phase destroy this card. Aegis monsters effect: This card cannot be Set. This card cannot only be normal Summoned if there is at least one shield type monster in your spell and trap card zone. This card can be placed into the magic and trap card zone as a continuous spell card, Aegis effects are also usealy used when there monster cards. This card can be placed into the magic and trap card zone as a continuous spell card, this counts as a normal summon. When this card is attacks it is switched to defense mode. When this card is destroyed draw a card. Finaly there are the bulkwalks: all bulkwalks have the effect when there both a spell or a trap card. other then that they are no strict rules to them. This card does not need a tribute to be normal summoned. This card can, and must attack every monster on the field if in attack mode. When this card summoned as a spell card it gains six shield tokens. By removing three tokens you can make any damage you take this turn 0. To summon high level sheilds cards, like cyber guard up there, instead of makeing sacrfices for them you need to have a number of shield types in your spell and trap card zone. Meaning it takes at least four turns worth of normal summings to get the needed monsters in your spell and trap card zone, (since to put any monster into you spell and trap card zone you need a normal summing) Bastions can work around this, but can only be used in reaction to your what your opponent does. so after a few turns of a big set up you cna bring out high level sheilds cards, one after the other with out tributes. however, the more shields in your spell and trap card zone, the less you can use other spell and trap cards (like monster reborn or trap hole) but the rechargable nature of sheild cards midgates this problem. thats my shield cards, let me know what you think, I'll post more of them latter, i used board line NSFW art for some of them and i need to sort them out with new picutres. on that subject NONE OF THE ART IS MINE i forget werei found sheild maidain art, but the other three are fredy 3D work divent art site: here [url="http://fredy3d.deviantart.com/"]http://fredy3d.deviantart.com/[/url] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Flip effect are not activated and the card is set face down. If this card is flipped in your magic and trap card zone, resolve it's effect once and then destroy it. This counts as a fusion summon. When this card is summoned as a spell card you may discard two card from you hand to destroy every monster you opponent controls. By removing four shield tokens on this card you may move to your monster zone. When this cards a monster it can only be destroyed by a water attribute monster. This counts as a fusion summon. When this card is summoned as a spell card you can discard the top five card of your deck to look at your opponents hand and discard one monster. Your opponent loses life point equal to the monsters level X200. This card counts as two shields for summoning Shield type monsters. When this cards a Field spell card it has the following effect: All Shield monsters need one less shield to be summoned. When this card is a monster it has the following effect: When this card is summoned all cars on the field are destroyed. When this defense position monster is attacked, destroy the attacking monster at the end of the battle phase. when this card is a spell card you may remove one shield counter when a Bastion monster is flipped to active it's effect to summon it the field. Most people in the Realistic Cards Section (including myself) aren't all that big of fans of creating new Sub-Types. As they should all share the same new mechanic, but are ussually just confused with an archetype or are just sticked onto random cards. Also another tip is not posting this many cards at once, as it scares of most people from commenting and makes it really difficould to comment on them as the commenter would have to read an enormous amount of text in total and most people don't have enough time for that. Another thing that I've noticed is that you've only created moster cards, I recommend also making some supporting Spell and Trap cards when you're creating an archetype/subtype. Finally to save space, and make everything look organized, I'd recommend sorting them on archetype/lvl and things like them and putting them in spoilers. dragonkingofthestars Posted June 3, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 3, 2012 Thanks for the tips, i saw those spoilers but had no idea how to make them. second, there no spell and trap cards, because there ALL spell and or trap cards, the idea is you could throw a couple shield cards into almost any deck and have it work. I made shield a sub type since they are four types of monsters (bastion, shield, acolyte and Bulwark) that i can't just use the name, a design flaw on my part. thanks for the reply Eternal Gem-Knights,. EDIT just noticed you commented about sub types, as they should all share the same mechanic, i think i may have Inadvertently pulled that off there not the SAME mechanic between bastion, shield, acolyte and Bulwark, but there friggen close.
