[/quote] I'm still iffy about that ruling, mainly because the OCG still has the original ruling for this card (I think). It's kinda the same deal with Rampart Blaster whom, before in the TCG, could do direct attacks while in Defense Mode regardless of how many monsters the opponent controls, but now goes by the OCG, where it can only attack directly while in Defense if the opponent has no monsters remaining (which, in that case, I'd rather have her in Attack Position the whole time). ... and let's not forget, this was Kevin "Xyz Materials are treated as being on the field" Teward who brought up this ruling to begin with. Personally, I'd much rather not trust any word that comes outta the guy's mouth/EFF-hole/whatever. Also, I think the only other reason this doesn't see use, despite the ruling, is because it's still too situational in that it requires your [i]opponent[/i] to attack you.
