I thought for a few seconds and thought "Why not?", and made this card. It was originally a Field, but I later changed it to a Continuous so it would work with "Divine Wind of Mist Valley". There's not much to say about it otherwise, so just tell me what you think. [b][i]Eye of the Storm[/i][/b] [img]http://i.imgur.com/ikbj8.jpg[/img] SPELL/Continuous Increase the ATK and DEF of all WIND monsters on the field by 500 and decrease the ATK and DEF of all non-WIND monsters by 300. Once per turn, during their respective Standby Phases, both players must return 1 card on their field to their hand. If they cannot, they take 500 damage to their Life Points. Meanwhile, "Field Flush" is meant to get rid of irritating monsters that have been on the field for too long. [i][b]Field Flush[/b][/i] [img]http://i.imgur.com/QgJC1.jpg[/img] Increase the ATK and DEF of all WATER monsters on the field by 500 and decrease the ATK and DEF of all non-WATER monsters on the field by 300. Once per turn, during their respective Standby Phases, both players must return 1 card that has been on their side of the field for more than 3 turns to their hand or Extra Deck. Garthfunkle Vii Backwards Posted June 20, 2012 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 eye of the storm a reffence to xiaolin showdown by chance lolz ? so the field spell with eye of the storm combine your wind get a plus 500 - 700 then there monster drop by 300 so your monster at 2500 theirs 3000 end result yours 3200 theirs 2700 for major take over maybe drop to 300 gain prehaps so there not too munch field domanice the return card effect is great -1 for em but with mist valley you gain so it works pretty well but can be a cost so it works just drop the atk gain to 300 and it will be fine field flush reminds me of the toliet no ? field flush again +500 for you and - 300 form them is a difference of 800 a tad too munch man make the atk gain 300 instead the second works well with most water theme decks so thats retty good ps an alternative idea keep the 800 difference but the can only be activated or stay on the field if you control a face up field spell card that would work and be quite balanced Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lower it to Increase by 400 / decrease by 200 and it should be good. Eye of the Storm, while the effect is not broken, it seems contrary to the design that it can return itself to the hand and the card literally doesn't affect you at all. Yeah, works with mist valleys and stuff, also to recycle swords. Field Flush is alright, but again it can return itself. Might want to make this card a little more aggressive since returning S/T cards to the hand is easy. Something like "during each player's standby phase, BOTH players...." etc. Also "hand or Extra Deck" is not needed - compulsory evacuation device always returns Synchro / Xyz monsters to the Extra Deck. [/quote] Thanks for the advice. I hadn't taken returning itself into account; that really does hamper it, doesn't it? It does force both players to bounce, though, so it does in fact affect both players. I'll fix that, though. While "Eye" does work with Divine Wind (in fact, that's what I planned on), I can't think of any Field Spells that work with "Flush". I think tying them to specific Field Spells might limit them too much. As for ATK/DEF changes, the difference is a bit high. I'll see what I can do.
