your last effect LOL doesn't it involve the card itself? This card is severely OP. IF you discard 8 Mermail Monsters, if you manage, this card can end up with 9000 ATK LOL! also doesn't even state card gains ATK until end phase... what happens after you detach the last Xyz Material??? 6400 if you discard 9 Mermail......... so 9000+6400 = 15400. So basically in 2 turns if you discard 18 mermails youll have 15400 ATK. your second eff is also OP, its OP if it involves it self including Mermail's. Horrible effect so OP! Picture is amazing. ATK AND defence is amazingly setup, and OCG is SOLID, and your title is awesome. but the effect is so broken... i cant give you 10.

Why. the. heck. would. I. do. that? I clearly stated Yugico messed up the numbers.
God, everyone here doesn't do everything just to spite you.
Oh yeah, and Legilt, look at the god damn post above you.
Oh, and for the record, you can have more than 4 cards in your hand during the period you can activate this card's effect (or 5 for that matter) without Infinite Cards. The only part of a turn where hand size really matters is the End Phase.

This isn't the first time someone has misread the "3" as an "8" on the card, then stupidly disregards the lore posted underneath, but sweet fancy Moses, what is wrong with you people?

Card is amazing. Though, the summoning requirements make it's worth a tad questionable. The best Level 7 they have is Mermail - Megaloabyss, which is the boss monster, and as I'm posting this, I'm reading an article about the archetype on DGz posted by Byakk who provided a sample deck for Mermails/Atlanteans. Meaning, you'd need 2 Megaloabyss, which each need 2 WATERs to dump to SS them, to play this. OR, you can dump Abyssgunde, plus another, to get Megalo #1, then use Abyssgunde to revive #2. If you can get 2 Megalos in the grave, plus another Mermail, you can revive them with Depthsquall, then Xyz for this. Since getting this out takes dedication, and is slow to get out, it probably won't be worth it. Plus, Megaloabyss is a 2400 double attacker that searches the Depth S/Ts.

One suggestion I'd like to make is to make all the "Mermail" support effects also work with "Atlanteans", so you can dump Atlanteans and destroy stuff while you destroy stuff.

Other than that, the card's not bad.
