So, with a purchase of the new SD, Imma gonna build sams.

Is this what I wanna go for?

My opinion on musaki magatama, it's okay but it just doesn't fit ( i tried )

Really standard build that focuses on thinning the deck with Asceticism, getting out 1 of their boss monsters as fast as possible and then possibly swarm the field afterwards. Great Shogun Shien is godawfully situational to get out compared to the other combos the deck can make and is absolutly dead at times. Hand and Spirit are Dojo targets in addition to Elder and the Tuner and Hand can bluff out effect Veilers, because it has the advantage of Tributing itself, which will be the most common play with hand. If they do Veiler it, you can still utilize it for Xyz plays for Missing X-Saber Invoker, Wind-Up Zenmaines or Leviathan Dragon. Spirit has the ability to turn any Six Samurai into draw power, notably combo being Dojo + Shi En.

Additionally, you can main a 2nd Compulse/Fiendish Chains/Bottomless Trap Hole(altough I hate bottomless with a passion in SS) to protect your boss monsters. You can also run Shien's Squire to immediatly make Dojo life and make Shi En with LSS Kizan (even though I hate drawing into it).

I saw the deck on duelistgroundz and I heard it became first in Central America regionals, so I'm going to be a dick and going to ask the following to you:

Justify why Maxx "C" is good in the main and running a 3rd compulsory over the 2nd Warning is a good idea.

You can't honestly think Shogun is good... Especially when you say United of all things clogs at 3. ._.

The rest of my post pretty much would be Hyperion's fixes tbh, although I'd personally say keeping Torrential isn't a terrible idea, but probably still not the best. You establish field advantage fast with Six Sams, if you lose it you lose, pretty much.

Except Ascetism only works on Six Samurai monsters and you can only grav Six Samurai monsters. Great Shogun Shien's name doesnt not include Six Samurai monster, so you cant grab it. Like, at all.

Also, even if it is IRL, get them? Both Barkion Ghost-Gold and Naturia Beast Gold go for $9.99 (Troll and toad prize), which combines into a better deal then buying this year's 1 Gold Series pack, so the important boss monsters aren't even that expensive, unless you want a Duel Terminal version of Beast or something.
