In summary: Hit everything OTK-friendly/interaction killers/badly designed, push old archetypes, make current decks less crazy, and bring back cards that don't/never deserved to be banned/limited?

Not hitting the Rail Gun?

He already killed it with an REDMD ban,but nobody likes gustaph anyway.

Edit: pfff,3 posts in 3 seconds?

One Day of Peace has those weird decks that can be tech'd the f*** out of them/need lots of set-up.

Considering this is a hypothetical banlist, the reason I would ban it isn't just the alt. wins, but it also restricts card design later on.

The problem with this is that MOST of that card design this restricts is already bad design, so I guess it's kinda a personal preference in this case.

One Day of Peace without Exodia/Countdown/Destiny Board (pfffft) is merely annoying, instead of absolutely Nuclear Tesuji inducing.
Though even without Exodia, they'd need to be careful adding any more draw 1 cards, as some crazy people, and eventually meta, possibly, will be able to abuse it into super consistent OTK setup.

Pretty much what I said. It's a preference thing, but we all know Konami doesn't care about the restricted card design. But since this is a theoretical banlist, there's nothing wrong with it being unlimited for this thing. Just personal preference.

Some of your predictions is kinda misleading.

Pot of Avarice: This card is still here because 5 monsters are required to activate it.
Final Countdown: I've play on a dueling site and I've never seen this card used. Maybe it's counterpart "Last Turn" is a better candidate. That card just spell FTK.
Exodia: Why ban the main card but not the limbs??? If Konami does this, their would lose SO many players....
Morphing Jar: This mostly benefits both players. The only time this card is a pain if you have Exodia or your best card.
Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning: This card do have some "holy @#$%" effects. But think about all the damage it will do to synchros. This card is one of the VERY few cards that can stand a chance against synchros. This card is a MUST if you plan to battle a sync deck.
Tsukuyomi: This card still can cause serious damage to you. The Mask of Darkness combo is crap compared to the new ones like the Nobleman of Crossout combo. The same goes for Book of Moon.
Judgment Dragon: Why ban a boss monster???

Pot of avarice: We're not in the mood to shape this format around POA being balanced.
Countdown: This is ideal ,not realistic.
Exodia: Who cares?
Jar: Not really, empty jar benefits from giving the opp draws.
BLS: Countering derp with derp is not good,oh,and synchros are balanced in this format.
Tsuk: You would really dedicate part of your deck to the tsuk+crossout combo? That just sounds like a quick way to lose.
JD: Because it's broke,derp.

Getting five monsters in grave can happen in all of one turn, and is guaranteed to have happened by at least your third turn.
Last Turn already is banned, and lack of play doesn't make Countdown any less bad.
Banning the head stops Exodia altogether, and unlimiting the limbs allows for some sort of bad rank 1 engine.
Morphing Jar is one of my favorite cards, but it is incredibly sacky and also acts as OTK/FTK fuel and I will not be sad to see it go.
BLS I have no real problem with but I can see why it needs to go.
Tsukuyomi really doesn't deserve to still be banned.
I don't feel like writing something about JD.

hmm, no hit for evolzars or they're ok?
The Evolzars are fine without Rabbit abusing them.

You didn't do anything to Wind-Ups. Well, Hunter really but Wind-Ups.
Wind-Ups are just good without the loop, and I don't want to make every deck bad, naturally there will still be tier 1 decks, but Wind-Ups actually take skill to use and promote player interaction for the most part.

The Evolzars aren't the problem, despite being a walking solemn. Rescue Rabbit would be the best cause not only it gets out the Dinos, it's versatile for a skilless Rank 4; such as use in Verz Rabbit.

Still can't help but feel i missed something on this list. :(
Sangan, but with TGU at 1 is not that bad. Also, Monster Reborn.

I have literally never seen an OTK deck that uses Machine Duplication, and if it exists, it surely is inconsistent as hell. And come on!, who the heck uses Self-Destruct Button anyways?

Why put Envoy of the Beggining on Forbidden? Konami only unbanned it last year, they want you to completely forget about it.

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning: I don't see a reason to explain this in much detail. Simply put it's a ridiculously splashable 3k beater, with 2 ridiculously powerful effects with one of the easiest summoning conditions ever printed on a yugioh card. It seems to go too overlooked these days, but it's insane and beyond broken.
idc if Konami want us to "forget" about it. Fact is it's broken.
