Stan Alda
I'm not going to bother writing up a lot for this one. It's a card that adds dead weight to your opponent's field and inflicts damage based on how much of that dead weight they've got. That's it, unless you can think of some sort of absurd OTK combo (and it seems to me like anything can be used for an OTK). Crown-of-Thorns Starfish WATER Level 3 Aqua/Effect During each of your Standby Phases, Special Summon 1 "Crown-of-Thorns Starfish Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/LEVEL 1/ATK 500/DEF 500) in Attack Position to your opponent's side of the field. These Tokens cannot be cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon or used for a Ritual Summon, Fusion Summon or Synchro Summon. Inflict 300 damage to your opponent's Life Points during your opponent's Standby Phase for each "Crown-of-Thorns Starfish Token" on their side of the field. You can only control 1 "Crown-of-Thorns Starfish" on your side of the field. 1500/1500 It's that simple. Tell me what you think.
This Account is Unplayable
Holy f*** I love this card. Before I go into it, I'll just clarify your OCG, it should be "cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon or used for a Ritual Summon, Fusion Summon or Synchro Summon." The Xyz clause was also redundant because tokens can't be used for Xyzs. The card itself actually makes for a really interesting deck that can easily be built around it. Basically playing protect the Starfish, although given its ATK there may need to be a limitation on it in some form. You can essentially IRS it and get 3 of them on the field immediately, which means 3 tokens, which means 900 damage from each of these, which is pretty ridiculous. I don't think you need to change the ATK, maybe something along the lines of either only controlling one or (preferably) only being able to summon one per turn. Its typing is interesting, since you can SS it through Surface, while this may be a bit... much it's fair seeing as Water and Aqua are undersupported anyway, and it's better than quite a few other types it could've been, in terms of how badly it'd be abused. I just love the idea of the obvious Safe Zone with protection combo with this.

As for limiting its Summons...I'll think about it. Considering Jam Breeding Machine has Summon-limiting clause anyway, I might be able to work with that.And...fixed. Anyone else? Stan Alda
Anyone...? Hello...?
Zelfore
*cleares throat* Yes, I'll take this with one "Messenger of Peace", please! And as the previous guy mentioned, "Safe Zone" would work beautifully with this! A minor problem is this, since they cannot used for summoning in any of its form, the only possible thing to do with them when they've invaded all the spaces on your field is wait for them to be destroyed. (Or take matters into your own hands.) This isn't a large problem, obviously. There's plenty of ways to get around this, it just makes it more picky. (e.g. Tributing in general, not for a summon.) Nice card overall. Art's a tad too realistic, but that's fine. Hope to see more of your intriguing cards!

And yes, the pic is an actual photo of a crown-of-thorns starfish, albeit recolored and darkened with GIMP. As for the effect, remember that they are summoned to your opponent's side of the field, not yours. But thanks for the review. As for my other intriguing cards, I've been making them for years, but they get very few remarks or comments. What am I, chopped liver?
