The first one would be good (and still has the potential to be so) if WATER monsters become more relevant. With Abyss Rising and the Sea Serpent Structure Deck coming out soon, that's very much a possibility. However, I've seen that card image so many times that I can't give you any creativity points for that. The Spell Card seems decent; not sure it's worth the 3 turn wait, since it's very difficult for a monster to stay on the field for that long when the game is as crazy as it is in this Meta, but it's still a good concept albeit uncreative.
