Cause negation is important. Also, this card is kind of counters Upstart Goblin. Makes Draining Shield viable and all sort of stuff...

I changed the card. It now negates Spell or Trap card or negates the effect(s) of Monster Cards, its restriction has been changed so you must run heal for this to work. (Any other way, this would let the dominating player stay on top).

Another interesting Life Point-gain card, similar to your last one in design, but both are good. In order for them to be useful, you need to design a few cards that actually boost your Life Points in a specific way, otherwise it's not going to work because the majority of Life Point gaining cards are severly outclassed.

One of the options I could think of, and this is really just off the top of my head, is something like this:

[quote]Target 1 face-up monster on the field; change its Battle Position and both players gain 300 Life Points.[/quote]

Something like that, being a Quick-Play Spell, where the main effect isn't the Life Point gain, but it's useful while still triggering the other cards.
