New Card: Mechanicalizer *Cyber Dragon Support*

Some backstory: Cyber Dragons are a personal favorite of mine, and I don't think they have enough support. This card should be better for Overload though. Its balanced and everything as well. I may need some tweaking on the OCG of this though. CnC

OCG FIx:
All monsters on the field and in both player's Graveyards are treated as Machine-Type.

It's cool I suppose. It's worse than DNA Surgery(?) in that you can only make monsters Machines but it's better in that it also affects the Graveyard. Cool card just don't see it being used much.

Well, the image is fantastic. I'll give you credit for that; I'm assuming you designed/modified it yourself? If so, nice job. That's definitely a big appeal factor in the card.

Unfortunately, the appeal stops there. Being a Continuous Trap makes it comparable to DNA Surgery, especially since it affects the field with a specific type. (Yes, this is obvious.) Now, making all the monsters on the field Machine-Type is hardly relevant, since I'm not sure there's much at all that could benefit from this over DNA Surgery in that regard. Don't forget, you can also use DNA Surgery to make Dinosaurs, and turn your Level 4's into Evolzars, which is a plus this card doesn't necessarily have, at all.

The second factor you get to is the Graveyard, and it's obvious this part of the card is designed solely for Overload Fusion plays. Any ideal way to use Overload Fusion would be in a Machine-based Deck, so having to build your Deck around this to make playing it even remotely practical would just be a waste of time and Deck space, when you could do something much better using fewer cards and more consistent combos. Not to mention, it's extremely slow being a Continuous Trap Card in a destruction-heavy format.
