Enma Ai
Hey guys. Another card born from my boredom. I find I make more creative cards when I'm bored. So, I'll start working on a set now. Please comment etc. Activate only while you control the monster with the lowest ATK of the field and you opponent controls the monster with the highest ATK. Both monsters ATK and DEF become 0. During both players Main Phase 2 the turn player tosses a coin. If Heads: Tribute both monsters to Tribute Summon a level 7 or higher monster, ignoring its summoning conditions (if you cannot, show your hand to your opponent and end your turn). If Tails: Skip your next Draw Phase and Standby Phase. If any of the monsters on the field that were effected by this cards effect are removed from the field, then destroy this card and all cards with 0ATK on the field. Synchronized
I need some clarification on a few things here: - If both players flip a coin during both players' MP2, who gets to Tribute the monsters? - Same question would apply to the skipping the Draw Phase and Standby Phase part of the effect. If it's my turn and my opponent gets tails while I get heads, does my opponent skip his new Draw Phase and Standby Phase? That seems like way too much luck and a potential broken effect into one card.
Enma Ai
I need some clarification on a few things here: - If both players flip a coin during both players' MP2, who gets to Tribute the monsters? - Same question would apply to the skipping the Draw Phase and Standby Phase part of the effect.
1) The effect says "The turn player tosses a coin" so I would assume that means if its your opponents turn, your opponent tosses the coin 2) I was considering taking out the "Ignoring summoning conditions" part of the effect, but it does run down to luck, whoever gets the right side of the coin and has a good 7+ monster in their hand. I may have it negate the monsters effect. Oh and relating to the coin tosses; The coin toss effects apply to the person flipping the coin. So opponent would skip phases if they got tails. You would skip phases if you got tails. If anyone has a better way to word this card please post it, I understand it can be a bit confusing. Synchronized
Okay, that makes a bit more sense. So ultimately, you're risking losing a draw to potentially bring out a higher level monster from your hand while Tributing an opponent's monster. I'm not sure that's worth the payoff. What might be worth the payoff, though, is the fact that your opponent has the potential to be forced to skip Draw Phases, which is just crazy for any effect to have. It seems slow, but something like Wind-Ups might be able to tech this and after a Hand Loop, if they block a Draw Phase, there's barely any way around this. The luck factor is what makes it bad card design, even though it's not really practical.
