Chris Format Glad Beasts

Recommended Posts

You seem to be going several ways at once with this Deck. You have a Beast core, a Winged-Beast core, Safecutor, Test Tiger, Plaguespreader...You could use Pot of Duality, maybe over Respite, and I'm not sure how Test Tiger performs, but you don't have Gyzarus...

Well if you take a look at the Chris Format Ban list, you will know that Gyzarus is banned and Bestiari is unlimited. I was thinking using the tag out these guys have as a base to adjust between winged beasts and beasts/beast-warriors. Bestiari and many of my windged beasts can fall trap to bottomless or torrential or something, so icarus attack is there. Also horn of the phantom acts as a different form of surprice attack and helps fuel hand advantage. But Im still unsure about the deck...

Yeh, I know Gyzarus ain't allowed. What I meant was that the combos that Test Tiger makes (Darius -> Bestiari -> Gyzarus) aren't available anymore.

And you can switch between the cores by attacking, but if you can't connect with an attack it becomes much harder. You have 3 Book of Moon, but so does your opponent. Duality might help you in pairing up the cores you need. I'm not sure it's needed.

Duality actually sucks for me since it prevents my special summons for the turn :/ and test tiger has been proven useful at 2 since he goes into Xyz Summons most of the time. Tiger + Sam = Leviair/Leviathan and they tend to stay on the field at least 2 turns. I might consider dropping the icarus engine though since its not as consistent as I thought...

Test Tiger sucks
Respite sucks
PSZ in GBs sucks
Pretty sure Samnite is terrible

Laquari should be the GB @3. Equeste should be @2.

Horn and Icarus attack won't do you any good, since the latter requires Equeste which you don't want in the grave anyway and Horn won't be very effective at all.

Fiendish Chain looks terrible in the format my banlist creates.

BTH and Solemn Warning; Run 2 of each.

You likely want to max out on D-Prisons too.

Same with Mirror Force.

You use Duality to search for backrows/outs, not to make GB plays. If you're using it properly, then there's no reason not to run it.
