DropDeadDream
Ever noticed how well Lightsworn and Darkworld complement each other? Ironic, right? I wanna try to make support for a Hybrid Lightsworn/Darkworld Deck. Here's my decent attempt. Once again, I'm not a pro player, so constructive criticism is welcome. Rate, hate, meditate. Image Credit for "Lightsworn Hybrid of Darkworld" goes to XiaoBotong on DeviantART dot com I honestly have no clue who made the art for "Lightsworn to the Darkworld"... credit to whoever made it! You may detach 1 Xyz material monster from this card: Discard any amount of cards from your hand. You may detach an additional Xyz material monster from this card: Return any number of cards from your Graveyard to your Deck that is less than the amount of cards you discarded from your hand due to this card's effect. This cards gains 100 ATK points for every card discarded or returned to the Deck due to this card's effect. This card cannot be selected as an attack target by any monster that is not LIGHT or DARK. For every turn this card is on your side of the field, you lose 2000 Life Points. You can select and activate one of these effects once per turn. So... any good?
newhat
The first card's discard is written oddly. It needs to be an effect, not a cost, to trigger Dark World monsters' effects.

Not saying you're wrong, just want to know. Actually, I now see what you're talking about. I'll attempt to fix it now.

There's no way you'd be able to run both effectively, even with the "support" this card offers. Dark Worlds don't like to just throw away cards with nothing in return, but you're -'ing yourself here for that sole purpose. I'd rather use something like Dark World Dealings and Dragged Down Into the Grave to make the effects go off while plussing at the same time.

Also, would discarding a Darkworld from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard not activate its effect? Because going from the top of the Deck to the Graveyard is still considered discarding, is it not?
Synchronized
No, it's not; the term used is "milling", although the game doesn't specifically call it that. Sending from the Deck is not discarding; discarding only works from the hand, and it has to be by an effect in order for any of the Dark World effects to trigger. Alas, such is the problems of a casual player XD Anyhting you can think of that I could do to maybe...erm... twist said rules to make it worthwhile to build such a Deck?
