D'you remember Chrysalis? You know, old, useless archetype?

Okay, so, I saw this archetype full of potential and thought...hmm...maybe I should do a Rumpole and fight for the underdog? This card can be construed as flat-out support for the archetype or as a Synchro engine. We E-Teleport you can grab this and have the materials for those pesky Synchros that require two non-tuners (Mist Wurm = CC + Chrysalis card + The Tricky? *shot*).

So, what do you think? Excellently written, constructive reviews will get liked.

Obviously going to do a full review, but I'd like to first point out that it's an instant Rank 2 from the Deck and I don't like that. .-.;

Practically every top tier deck can get an Xyz of any rank out in a single turn. So many other cards do this better. This works with an archetype with next to no support. And other than Gachi Gachi, what Rank 2 Xyz monsters are even somewhat usable?

As for the card, I like the fact that you are reviving a previously useless archetype. Granted this doesn't help much, but it is somewhat like Cross Porter. Personally, I would've made it more similar to Porter in regards to the summoning.

How I would've went about this:
[i]When this card is Summoned: you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 "Chrysalis" monster from your Deck, except "Chrysalis Connector". You can banish this card from your side of the field to add a "Chrysalis" monster from your Deck to your hand.[/i]

What harm would it do to add one to your hand. It would be extremely bad if it could summon a twin from the Deck. Potential plus 4, besides the cost. I fixed that. I don't think Monster Reborning it would be too abusive. Banishing it like Fader would be silly.

I was thinking about more power...but even then I worried about the relationship RC has with balance. I think we criminally underpower most created cards. If something is to make a mark on the metagame, it needs pizazz.
