Kamikaze Artillery

Recommended Posts

Been a long time since I last made a card, and my OCG is probably a bit rusty. Saw people were making "Goblins" and I've been playing way too much DotP recently so...

Lore: You can only activate this card if you control at least 2 "Goblin" monsters and your opponent controls 5 or fewer cards. Tribute 1 "Goblin" monster you control; Destroy all cards your opponent controls and take 500 damage for each card destroyed this way. "Goblin" monsters you control cannot change their Battle Position this turn. Skip your next Draw Phase.

Basically gives Goblins the *ahem* "firepower" that they could do with to at least stand a chance against other decks. I... can't really say much about it otherwise and this is incredibly hypocritical of me but I didn't really put much thought into it. Oh well, s*** happens.

Hey, someone listened to me! It's a workable concept: assuming 5 monsters on your opponent's side of the field and 3 "Attack Forces" on your side (1 for Tribute and two for attack), that would mean inflicting 4600 damage to your opponent for 2500 of your Life Points. I'm not sure why you would skip the Draw Phase as opposed to the Battle Phase, though. I also have problems with the Goblins not switching battle positions as usual, but I'm sure you had that for a particular reason. And why did you use Yugico?

I should like, type out the entire thought processes of the cards I make 'cause I swear I always get a question I can only explain via card lore.

Basically, it's the "last strike" for the goblin army, hence the huge damage they'll take from firing this off against any remotely large force. Because it's their last strike they have no time to rest, but those that are resting have no time to pick up their weapons and join the assault. (Referencing the general clumsiness that is imminent in Goblins in... well TCGs in general). The draw phase skipping is in the sense that they're now all out on the battlefield and have no means to grab more supplies until they retreat/rest once again.

Hope that made sense, I'll admit the card art doesn't explain anything in what I was thinking but f*** browsing forever for a good goblin image.

Oh and Yugico because I just had to save the image and crop it using the cropping tool Yugico has built in, whereas otherwise I'd have to save the file, crop it, and save it again.

That makes more sense, I guess. I thought the image was hilarious. I personally find it more convenient to crop it in GIMP and then save it, in case I want to modify the image later. Besides, I just don't like Yugico. I've used them, and I was not pleased. The card itself is pretty good as-is.

First off, picture.....so damn funny.... isn't kamikaze VOLUNTEERED suicide, poor goblin tied up =P

Anyways, i see nothing wrong with it. Although i think monster is capitalized, i noticed this on the NEWER cards.... i think konami is changing OCG again *sighs*, anyways plz correct me if i'm wrong. Great effect and adds support to underused archetype. 10/10
