I am confused.

DarkTunerMiseryKing

Question

There are probably references to this in a thread on YCM but I can't find it. I am confused about something. The issue is 'Xyz monsters'. Does YCM call them 'Exceed' and is that an official ruling when creating and/or requesting material?

Please help me answer my question. It may sound stupid but I am genuinely confused.

Oh, and if I have posted this in the wrong thread, I am very sorry and feel free to move it appropriately.

"Exceed" is just the pronunciation. Rather than saying X-Y-Z.

It's actually "ikseez" or something like that. "Exceed" came from how it was said in the Japanese RAW of the ZeXal anime, where it sounded like "Exceed"

No, Exceed is an English approximation of the word that would go with the pronunciation, which is actually "ick-sees" if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Aaand ninja'd.

Thankyou. So, if we were to create a Xyz monster in any card subforum, such as written; we would use the term 'Xyz' and not 'Exceed'?

You could really use either and we'd understand, but it would be better to use Xyz.
