thekazu4u
If you all like Special Summons and OTKs so much, they may as well be at least balanced, and have some interesting concept to go with them. The theme of this deck is COMBO, with a touch of Beatdown. It is unique because (1) all the monsters are Level 5 and (2) all the cards have the potential for reuse by returning to the top of the Deck. If you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. If you do, it is changed to Defense Position. When this card is Normal Summoned: Place 1 "Titanium" card in your Deck on top of your Deck. If this card is Destroyed: You can place it on top of your Deck. A great opener, this card allows you to search for your Field Spell and can be a great beatstick if you get it out there for more than a turn. Also, it allows you to set up the deck. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) if there are no monsters in your Graveyard. Once per turn: You can send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard; If the sent card is a "Titanium" monster, Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard. If this card is destroyed: You can place it on top of your Deck. Another opener for the deck, this card reduces bad hands. It is very key to the deck because it allows for easy access to RANK 5 XYZs, which are of utmost importance. If this card is destroyed: You can place it on top of your Deck. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by declaring 1 card name of 1 "Titanium" monster. When this card is Special Summoned in this way, pick up the top card from your Deck and if it is the card name is the one you declared, Special Summon it. If not, send this card and the card you picked up to the Graveyard. A very Cyber-Dragon ish card. This card is probably the most likely to be broken, because it allows REAL easy access to rank 5s. You can Special Summon this card (from your Hand) by returning a monster you control to the top of your Deck or Extra Deck. Once per turn, you can declare 1 Level from 1 to 5: All face-up "Titanium" monsters become that Level. This card may appear weak, but it is actually a great combo card. It allows you to set up some awesome plays with Golem and Drake. If this card is sent to the Graveyard except when it is destroyed: You can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon it. If this card is destroyed: You can place it on top of your Deck. Get it, Natnefthis? Not nephthys? Never mind. This is the OTK enabler. It has a hint of WULF, except it is also great for tributing and/or using as Xyz Material. I am a bit worried about this one's design as well, but the 1000 Life Point cost helps prevent loops for the most part. 2 Level 5 "Titanium" Monsters When this card is Xyz Summoned: Add 1 "Titanium Castle - Labirynth" from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn: Detach 1 Xyz Material Monster from this card; Destroy 1 card on the field. This card cannot attack during the turn this effect is activated. The boss card of the deck. This has a +1 on summon, if it gets through. It is also important for the OTK, in most other cases, if you already have the field spell one of the other rank 5s will work just fine. When thiscard is activated: You can return 1 "titanium" monster you control to the top of your Deck and destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. Once per turn: Select 2 "Titanium" monsters in your Graveyard; Place them on top of your deck in any order. Then, if you have no monsters in your Graveyard: Draw 1 card. If this card is destroyed: You can return it to the top of your Deck. Yup, thats the field spell. It allows for a +1 every turn so long as you have no non-titanium monsters in your GY, and no more than 2 titanium monsters. The first effect is also important in the OTK. The OTK: Needs: Foolish Burial, Serpent, Drake, and either Drake or Golem in Graveyard. They have 3 or less defensive cards on the field. How it works: Foolish Burial into Phoenix, pay 1000, get it back, spin for Serpent, Special Summon Drake, declare phoenix, Special Summon Phoenix. Xyz Phoenix and Serpent into Lord, search field spell. Detach Phoenix, kill 1 card on field, activate field spell. Spin Lord, kill least favorite card on field. Eff field spell, get Drake/Golem back from Graveyard along with the Serpent that went to Graveyard. Special Summon Drake/Golem, and Special Summon top card of Deck. Now you have Phoenix, the first Drake, the second Drake/Golem, and the Serpent. Xyz Serpent and Phoenix into Iniigma, blow another card on the field, potentially search for field spell again if you need to for some reason. Get back Phoenix. Turn Iniigma into Gaia Dragon the Thunder Charger. 2600+1800+2100+2100 = 8600 or game. In short, I've never created an OTK, and I figured that they will exist so I may as well create one with interesting mechanics. Also, the archetype is perfectly viable (and probably better) if you play the non-OTK version, without Phoenix. The OTK is not broken, because it requires 3 cards, one of which is limited, and 1 specific card in Graveyard, and also is dependent on the opponent not having too many defensive cards. newhat
Once upon a time, I liked seeing art like this on cards. Now it just looks...busy. Natnefthis has potential with Lavalval Chain. Distroyar is nicely designed.
thekazu4u
Once upon a time, I liked seeing art like this on cards. So I figured I'd stick them all in the same place xD Natnefthis has uber potential with Lavalval Chain, but then again, so does Wulf. I also like Skydaeth more than Distroyar. But thats just because I love cards that can become the "face" of an archetype.
