Astolfo
Saw dat Snowman Creator thread in TCG and had to try to make some kind of deck around it and similar. Credits to Byakuya for helping me along, fixing rough jagged skeleton frames I made into this smoother - I hope - and cooler deck. *shot* --- Okay, okay, okay. No puns then. D: That's just plain cold. *lazershotgunned*\ EDIT: Okay, updated deck.
Alice Moonflowyr
Can you post a written decklist? Atleast, list the cards that ARENT obvious? I dont recognize half of these.
Cherz
I had nimbles first Nephy! I always liked a dark mist. Kudos with the ice counter stuff. The mermails, I never liked them. The only thing they can search is undine. Avarice is always fun since they hit the graves so often. I also use metabo-sharks to recycle. But, its your call Nephy. newhat
The cards are, in order, 3 Snowman Creator 2 Cold Enchanter 3 Ice Master 2 Snowdust Dragon 3 Genex Controller 3 Genex Undine 3 Nimble Angler 3 Nimble Manta 2 Nimble Sunfish 3 Mermail - Abysspike 2 Mermail - Abyssturge 2 Big Wave Small Wave 2 A Forgotten Continent/Forgotten Capital Lemuria HeavyBorn Hole 1 Judgment 1 Warning 2 MST This might benefit from Terraforming over BWSW. Also, 3 Ice Master is too many if you're not running Treeborn.
Astolfo
Again, this is just a rough outline that's a bit better. Was thinking of trying to include a Turtle and/or Frog engine, but not enough space. At first, it was a weird Nimble/Turtle Locking/Frog/Spam/Ice Counter/Mermail/Atlantean deck, and I still want to try to keep some elements, if possible without making the deck worse/bad. Byakuya suggested Lemuria, but I was thinking more of A Legendary Ocean or Wetlands. Is there anyway to incorporate a frog engine, and maybe some things like Gora Turtle, and the 2 Numen things? 96 seems like a decently good idea, but every single part here is so packed. ._. I can only choose either really fun and/or good to use. Also, anyway to incorporate Drill Barnacle? That's one of my personal favorites. Thanks anyway though. Any other good options? Preferably strictly WATER-attribute preferably unless they're godly here, in skill or fun. Penguins? Dunno. .-.
newhat
You can efficiently fuse maybe 2 engines and a core. This Deck already contains a core (Nimble) and 2 engines (Mermail and Genex). You don't have much room for more.
Astolfo
Is Lemuria that good? I was thinking switching out for Wetlands, and getting Drill Barnacle in somehow or something. Anyways to get in Frog Engine thing? Or Treeborn? Any tips/ideas/help?
newhat
After testing, I have concluded that the correct quantity of Ice Master is 0.
Astolfo
Wait, what two engines would be best? Mermail, Genex, Frog? I was thinking Genex Frog, but Mermails are decent too... Ice Master@ 0 is best? What about with Genex Frog? Or just general bad? Want to switch Lemuria for Wetlands, and Fit in Drill Barnacle somehow, and maybe 96 in Extra.
Cherz
Okay, Ill help you here. -Ice counter stuff. -Mermails +2 creature swap +2 sea lancer(Frog engine) +1 avarice. That is a MUST~ +3 swap frog +3 ronintoadin +3 Poisin draw frog +1 teched drill barnical -2 forgotten continent +2 wetlands Enjoy beating the hell out of your opponent. I wouldent avise treeborn because of wetlands. I hope I did okay~
Astolfo
No Ice Counters? ._. That's mainly why I built this deck. And Treeborn is for when I really don't have a continuous/field ATM. It can work decently. D:
Cherz
Choose between engines. Which do you want to keep then?
newhat
Okay, Ill help you here. -Ice counter stuff. -Mermails +2 sea lancer(Frog engine) +1 teched drill barnical +2 wetlands I hope I did okay~
go to your room and think about what you've done If you want to keep lots of monsters on the field for Snowman Creator, Frogs are good. 3 Swap Frog, 2 Ronintoadin, 2 Treeborn and 1 Dupe, perhaps? Astolfo
Would Genex Frog work? Trying to get rid of Lemuria for Wetlands, and is Big Wave Small Wave that good? If not, I would prefer teching a few Drill Barnacle(s). But the -5 Mermails won't be enough for frogs I think... Newhat, then, -5 mermails, and what else? Is there a way to get in Wetlands and Drill Barnacle too? Wetlands preferably at 2-3, DB at 1-2. But whatever's best.
.Rai
Big changes, but it's probably not optimal, what you're running. The engines you're proposing are inconsistent here. It's two mill engines hoping to combo with a retrieval engine in order to get your components, when: 1. It's a control deck with no components to gather and 2. Nothing wrong with some consistency cards. So first:
-8 Nimble Engine -6 Genex Engine -5 Mermails
When nearly half your deck is an engine, that's a telltale problem. So, your win condition should really be getting out Snowdust Dragon and piling on the pressure, field advantage-wise. Cold Enchanter is your most consistent way of getting out Ice Counters (and Snowman Creator, but that's secondary). And Ice Master is awful really. Also, I feel The Fabled Cerburrel is a legitimate tech when decks like Dolphin Control can run up to 3 easily. Same case here when your main engine should be Cold Enchanter. Also, I'm gonna replace a Big Wave Small Wave for a Pot of Avarice.
-3 Ice Master -1 Big Wave Small Wave +1 Cold Enchanter +1 Snowdust Dragon +1 The Fabled Cerburrel +1 Pot of Avarice
Fill out the spaces from those engines with some others:
+3 Tour Guide from the Underworld +1 Sangan +3 Deep Sea Diva +1 Atlantean Armed Soldier +3 Pot of Duality +1 Mystical Space Typhoon +1 Book of Moon +1 Forbidden Lance +2 Torrential Tribute +2 Bottomless Trap Hole +1 Solemn Warning
TGU engine is obvious. Deep Sea Diva can make Snowdust Giant with Lemuria. Atlantean Armed Soldier can be discarded by Cold Enchanter for advantage. Otherwise, it Special Summons Diva. Astolfo
Thanks Rai. I'll test ASAP. ^^ <3 *steals and drinks last of Rai's tea* <3 EDIT: Any way to include Wetlands/Drill Barnacle, and keep the deck good? D:
.Rai
Drill Barnacle is kinda bad though :C Besides, Drill Barnacle and Wetlands don't work together. Drill Barnacle's Level 3.
Astolfo
Drill Barnacle doesn't need to be Level 2. Wetlands counts WATER-attribute too. xD I liek Drill-y. D: *slaps Rai* :'c
Cherz
No, it has to be a level 2 water monster Nephy.
.Rai
Wetlands only counts things that fulfill all of its conditions. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I'm preeeeettty sure something that gave 1200 ATK to all WATER monsters is broken.

Is A Legendary Ocean good here? Also, I want drilly in. D:
.Rai
Heeelll no. If you run A Legendary Ocean, you'll never get out Snowdust Giant, i.e. one of your consistent things.
Astolfo
Okay then. DRILL BARNACLE. ;_; *thanks b-tch for the edits slaps Rai*
