newhat
Last bit should say "that target gains 500 ATK and DEF". The second effect isn't too useful, but splashable Piercing is quite good.
magemeek22
I think you should also add an "until the end phase" segment if that was the intention, and if its supposed to be permanent, make sure you incorporate that. Overall, GREAT card for water-based decks, I'd love to use it

magemeek22
@The Old Bird I don't really see a decrease in ATK too necessary, depending on the effect. If it is only a temporary effect (until the End Phase), a decrease in ATK might be beneficial. However, if it is permanent (which I see as a REALLY cool option), I think it needs to keep a base of 2300 to make it more viable as it loses ATK to support other monsters. Strider Tigerwolf
The purpose of the card IS "Splashable Piercer", and I DID intend to make its ATK/DEF gain Permanent, as well as its ATK loss. That's why I made its ATK 2300, so that after its used its effect twice, its nothing more than a 1900 ATK monster with pierce. It's also intended use for a "Bahamut Shark" target over Leviathan Dragon since it essencially becomes an 2300 beater with pierce. And even then, Tourguide into Number 17 itself, detach and ram over this guy :/ He's not that hard to get rid of in the first place. Edited the OCG. Aerion Brightflame
I think its fine. I'm only slightly concerned about what could happen with Number 17, turning it into 4k potential... or making Laggia 2900. What you could do, is take a leaf out of Light End Dragon (Who i'm assuming was a big inspiring thing behind this), and make the attack loss perminant, but the attack gain temporary. That way, it isn't a tool box power charger. Becuase, when you can create a 3000 attack rank 3 an top of a 2100 piercer in one turn theroetically, its kind of terrifying. But yeah, that's my advice. The actual losing of the attack perminantly is quite fair when its effect can help get over barriers.
Strider Tigerwolf
It IS terrifying, but not "overwhelming".
Strider Tigerwolf
So...I take it this card is "good as is"?
