Lore: 2 level 6 DARK monsters.
While this card is on the field, neither player can Xyz Summon. During your Standby Phase, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card. If you do, until your next turn, you and your opponent cannot play or Set any Spell or Trap Cards.

This card's first effect is to prevent Xyz Summoning since Xyz-centric decks are dominating the meta. It has this effect by default, so even if it has no Xyz Materials since it was summoned by Monster Reborn, it still negates Xyz Summoning. It's second effect is basically Cold Wave combined with Skill Drain+Soul Drain. In a nutshell, by detaching an Xyz Material, it becomes Cold Wave.

However, getting 2 level 6's isn't easy outside of Hieratics, but Hieratics don't use DARK level 6 monsters. Notable targets include Caius, Malicious and Jinzo...well that's all I can think of. I don't think there is a really easy way to summon 2 level 6 DARK monsters on the first turn, so Halo isn't all that splashable or abusable. If there is, I'll probably lower Halo's ATK or make it's summoning conditions slightly harder to achieve.

So its an Xyz Dark Higlander... intresting.

You have a point about Hieretics not being able to summon this thing easy, but Inzectors can. And Inzectors would love there opponent not setting s/t suppot, making hornets job a lot, lot easier.

My advice, lower to 2800 like Dark Higlander. 2800 is an easier obsticle for your opponent to kill without Spell and Trap support than 3000. As for the effect... i could say discard a card, but that gives Hornet an option to get into the grave. I would say, and banish a card in your hand. that way, it's a bigger cost on you, and the effect wouldn't be abused as much as it could be. Since, it's Cold wave, and cold wave is very abusable.
