Three-Headed Chimera

Ever drew a hand of all Spell/Trap cards, and been screwed? How about, a hand of only monsters, and been screwed? This card changes all that. It can be a Trap or Monster, depending on how it is used.

If this card is activated during your turn: Special Summon it as a Normal Monster Card: (Beast-Type/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 1900/DEF 1900). You cannot Normal Summon during the turn this card is Special Summoned in this way. If this card is activated during your opponent's turn: Destroy 1 face-up monster with 2000 or more ATK. If this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect: Add one "Three-Headed Chimera" from your Deck to your hand.

Activate it in your own turn as a Monster Card and beat them down with 1900 ATK. They got a monster with more than 1900 ATK? No problem. Set it face down, and kill it next turn. They MST it? No problem. Search another :) Great in a Skill Drain deck, it can get rid of their problematic monsters, or serve as a beater itself, and its effect (whether as a Monster or a Spell/Trap) resolves in the Graveyard.

Well, i would use it so hell yea am going for it! So i say the spell has to good of reasons but won't it be limited? if so i would not played it and OG not original as it is it just lacks a cost to make it real Yugioh like.

Why would it be limited? I don't see any reason to. And why does it need a cost to be balanced?
Why? limited? Have three of them use one in your turn set one for opponents turn + skill drain, well you tell me btw reason would be let it have a cost or requirement it having none of those it has to be limited at some point.

Uh,
you do realize that skill drain does not cause it to be destroyed by your opponent's card effect, correct? I think you may have misread the effect. Its either a 1900 beater that searches another when destroyed by card effect, or a trap that destroys one of their beatsticks. And if the face down trap is destroyed by their MST/Heavy, it gets another. It doesn't do any more than that.

So it's a free Scapegoat with the heads of three birds and enough muscle to become Scapegoat + Soul Taker on your opponent's turn, in the process dodging the restriction on Normal Summons in the process.

Broken.

Make it a Normal Spell, and eliminate all Quick-Play-specific effects in there, and you have a balanced card.

How does it dodge Normal Summon restriction? And it isn't soul taker because it can only take the soul of large monsters. And if you take away the trap effect, then it just becomes a spell that is really a 1900 monster.

In other words, activate this card, destroy what would most likely be an Exceed, get 1900 ATK beatstick and Exceed fodder later on, unburdened by bothersome Normal Summon restriction.

... you can't do both, only 1.
And it doesn't bypass the Normal Summon restriction! Read the card! "You cannot Normal Summon during the turn this card is Special Summoned in this way."
As for exceed fodder... I suppose, but any monster would work just as good for that.

I see it being a real card, but it's be limited. Still good though. I love it.

And if you summon before using it, you can't use it. Simple as that. It makes sense, and I can see it being run as a standard. It's like Bottomless except you don't banish it (which is what I like about it). One thing I would say is put somthing like "This card cannot be used for Synchro or Xyz material." Then I'd say it's get at least Semi-Limited. This would be limited for sure.

And put "If this face-down card is destroyed" for the search effect, otherwise you could blow up the monster and he'd get another one. And it says the monster is Normal. It should die like one.

Wait but it says

So i summon then active it won't stop me from activating it because it says you can't normal summon when you special summon the monster so to jump it's effect you normal summon first...am i wrong?

Yes you are. It is worded in the same way as Lava Golem.

Hmm... this is a valid point. I'll consider. I still don't think it would be limited, even without that, though, because that would render the Search effect useless. Maybe semi'd at the very most.

That's what I'm saying. Right now, it's limited. Add the "face-down" thing, and it's semi. Or not at all (avoid tourneys for a while if that happens, lol it's be spammed like hell) And the wording is "You cannot Normal Summon DURING THE TURN you Special Summon this card" so if you Normal Summoned in that turn, you can't use the card. You just can't. Unless you have money...
