"Charmer" Monsters you control cannot be destroyed. Once per turn, during either battle phase, you can select 1 monster your opponent controls and declare 1 Atrribute: The targeted monster becomes the declared Attribute. If this card is in your Graveyard during the start of your Main Phase: You can discard 1 card; Add this card to your hand.

(picture is not by me of course. it was from a site of a really talented guy who drew this...)
I tried to pretty much cover Charmer's main problems (the fact that they have to remain face up and they are easly destroyable, and the situational attributes). Opinions?

Interesting, potential to steal many monsters but a fast deck could get over this with all the S/T destruction. Slow decks would have a really hard time.

This probably won't make a good Charmer deck being the only cool support they have, but it is a step in the right direction. The problem is how un-searchable traps are, not really the card itself.

Now you made me think about it, the card seem a little slow.
ignoring the unsearchability, you think changing the recursion condition\cost\effect to, let's say, "If this card is in your graveyard : discard 1 card; add this card to your hand" ?

That seems alright to me.

It gives them potential to mess your opponent up a lot, but you're forced to run Gold Sarcophagus at 3...
