DankFish
I've always enjoyed running a monarch deck, and have done so in a couple different forms. Last time I ran them was pre-Xyz and today I decided to look up a new way to run them and I came across the idea of Frognarchs. They seem fun to run so I've thrown together a basic deck list and would very much appreciate some advice on how to make it better for not a lot of money. Here it goes: 28 Monster 3 Caius the Shadow Monarch 3 Raiza the Storm Monarch 3 Sea Lancer 1 Dark Dust Spirit 1 Gorz the Emissary of Darkness 1 Obelisk the Tormentor 1 Light and Darkness Dragon 3 Swap Frog 3 Dupe Frog 3 Battle Fader 2 Poison Draw Frog 2 Treeborn Frog 2 Roanintoadin 12 Spell 3 Enemy Controller 2 Creature Swap 2 Salvage 2 Mystical Space Typhoon 1 Monster Reborn 1 Heavy Storm 1 Dark Hole ?? Extra Deck 3 Gachi Gachi Gantetsu 12 Something Here is my issues 1, I'm not sure how my extra deck should look, 2, I'm not sure how consistent this will be. This Account is Unplayable
Avarice doesn't do you anything in FrogNarchs. Drop it for a LaDD. Otherwise, only change I'd suggest would be Unifrogs over Poison Draw Frogs.
DankFish
Can you give me a reason why to do Unifrog over Poison Draw? PoisonDraw gets its effect when attached to Lancer and he leaves the field. Unifrog offers no such advantage.
This Account is Unplayable
That's just it. Poison Draw only works when working in tandem with Lancer, which you don't have a million of. It also only works when you've sent it from the deck, or it's dead weight in hand. Now, consider a card that kills this deck outright. This card is run in a significant number of Rabbit decks. Macro Cosmos comes to mind, no? Unifrog allows you to kill this. But not just that, it lets you bait out and destroy backrow willy nilly. It's an all star in the deck, and serves a use outside of being destruction immunity for Sea Lancer. Sea Lancer only needs Dupe Frogs to be good enough. Poison Draw will make you wish you didn't draw it.
DankFish
I see what you mean, good point. So, -2 Poison Draw +2 Unifrog Also, I do like the idea of using Light and Darkness Dragon so I'll drop Avarice for it.
