Another poem..

Dryad

Recommended Posts

Wavering will..

Crumbling heart..

Clouded thought..

Blind eyes..

Dying flame..

Melancholy comes..

Without spite..

Without grief..

The world around closes..

Leaving all behind the doors of sadness..

Enjoy :)

Most thought provoking line underlined, can anyone explain why? (I am not asking the maker of this poem specifically, I merely wish to see opinions expressed and voices heard, from anyone and everyone.)

I was beginning to wonder if people would have not caught that part. Without Hate or Sorrow, melancholy can come. True, melancholy can be inspired from Grief, but sometimes that does not cause it, an example is the Blues, those who played the blues sometimes did not feel grief though "Tamed" anger can also be accompanied in this as well. My final example is maybe somebody is the wealthiest person on the face of the plant but overcome by melancholy as they are not feeling Spite or Grief, just loneliness is the cause for this person's depression.

Thank you, Sheogorath, it was a pleasure to answer your question :)
