If you can't read the effect, basically it selects a banished spell card when it's normal summoned with a Reptile monster and when another normal spell is activated, one time, it becomes that effect, and it has to remain on the field. Comments?

It's kind of situational. You can shut down Pot of Duality, RotA or Dark Hole, but you have to Tribute a monster and there's no guarantee that Ryn'echa won't just get killed beforehand.

If you made it Level 4, and you added some other restriction to replace the Tribute Summon, it might be usable.

It seems so. I didn't want to make it OP though since it can reuse Reborn, RotA, or anything else. Originally I was thinking of banishing Spells and then Special Summoning it, but it's still meh.

Question: Does the opponent resolve the said "replaced" Spell Card's effect himself? Or do you resolve it?

When your opponent activates a Normal Spell, Ryn 'echa's eff activates, replacing the eff with the banished spell card's. For example, if your opponent activates Shien's Smoke Signal, you can replace with Heavy Storm that was banished.

I understand that part, but do "YOU" resolve the effect? or does the "OPPONENT" resolve it? Lets say the banished card is Monster Reborn. Who gets the monster?

Hmmm...I'd say that your opponent resolves the effect. But then this card would have no use at all.

This was actually my main concern. And Reptile DWs? Even with this card, it won't see many plays. Geartown, maybe, but there isn't much synergy with several of the meta today for this card's effect to even be remotely a problem.

No, I meant that I could get rid of the Reptile Tributing clause to make it more versatile. But this card is just one of those fun cards that don't seem to fit in much. Prophecy/Magicals however can have a home for this card if I change that.

I see. Then maybe a bit of support for this guy is in order?

You can discard 1 Spell Card in your hand: Special Summon this card (from your hand) in face-up Attack Position. You can banish up to 2 cards in your Graveyard: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of banished cards x700. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect, select one of your banished monsters: Return it to the bottom of the deck.

Once per turn: You can send 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Deck to your Graveyard. When a Reptile-Type monster(s) is banished, you can add 1 Level 4 or lower Reptile-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn. When this card is removed from the field: Destroy all Reptile-type monsters you control.
