Problem2
Lurking around a lot, I've seen quite a few SSBB themed pop culture cards. I've been working on my own for quite a while, but my type has it's own niche... They're all built around this card..
All Smash monsters you control gain 200 ATK/DEF. At the end of the Damage Step when your Smash monster attacked: You can send this card to the graveyard to target that Smash monster; then this card resolves without effect.
This card is the key to unlocking the potential of every Smash Character. At first, I wanted their effects to match their final smashes, but I quickly came across the problem that most Final Smashes are simply very destructive. Instead, only some effects match final smashes, while others simply fit to the lore of that character. Without further ado, I present to you the original 12 characters!!

When this monster destroys a monster your opponent controls by battle while there is another monster your opponent controls: Reduce this monster's ATK by 300 points until the end phase; this monster can attack again this turn. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: Increase this monster's attack by 1000 until the end of this turn.

It's-a-him. Mr. Italiano himself! While Mario doesn't feature an effect that represents his final smash "The Finale", his effect is largely inspired from his ability to "multi-bounce" across several opponents. Mairo is no newcomer to power-ups, he'll gladly take that 1000 ATK to push for battle dominance.

If the only face-up monsters your opponent control are monsters with 1500 or less ATK: This monster can attack directly. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: Change the original ATK of all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls to 1500 (permanently).

Luigi has always tended to be similar, yet slightly different to his brother Mario. The most notable differentiating traits are his height and unique jump. Luigi, being known to jump higher then Mario doesn't need to attack enemies to get to his goals. Nope! He simply lunges right over them (if they're weak enough that is). With his final smash though, Luigi makes all the monsters a breeze for him to get around.

When this card is normal summoned: You can return 1 card from your hand to the deck and add 1 equip spell from your deck to your hand. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: equip 1 equip spell from your deck or Graveyard to this card.

Link has always been known for his enormous quantity of items and equipment that he carries with him... somewhere. Even better, Link has a knack for finding items he so happens to need in the midst of dungeons and quests! This trait is brought out with Link's effect. Now you have awesome control over equip spells!

When this monster is special summoned by the effect of "Zero Suit Samus" or normal summoned: place 2 missile counters on this card. At the beginning of either players' battle phase: You can remove 1 missile counter from this card; increase this monster's Atk by 800 points until the end of the turn. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: Tribute this monster; special summon 1 "Zero Suit Samus" from your hand.

It's SPAMus! Samus starts out with a small arsenal of missiles which allow her to accel at combat. If you happen to trigger the smash ball as her, you can Special Summon Zero Suit!.. What does she do you ask? I don't know, we'll have to wait and see

During your End Phase: place 1 Wind Up counter on this card (Max 1). When this card declares an attack while it has a Wind-Up counter: Remove that counter; this monster gains 1000 ATK. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves, this monster gains the following effect: * During either player's turn, you can remove 1 Wind-Up counter from this card to target 1 card on the field: Destroy that target.

Oh dear god! Wind-ups! Hahaha! These aren't toys you're messing with this time! This is Donkey Kong, and he has a fully charged Giant Punch ready for you! After powering up with Smash Ball, he can start using his Giant Punch for all sorts of things! Good thing he needs a tribute to hit the field right?

When this monster is summoned: Add 1 "Taunt" card from your deck to your hand. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; halve the target's ATK and inflict damage to the opponent equal to the ATK dropped.

Show Ya' Moves!!! Captain Falcon always shows up to the battle with style and manliness. Just from summoning him, you gain access to unique "Taunt" cards for crazy combos (note: there's even a card called Taunt in the TCG/OCG). When he hits them with his final smash, he hits them so hard it inflicts burn damage.

Each time your opponent activates a spell card: Increase your life points by 500. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves and you have 3 or more spells in your Graveyard: Your opponent selects 1 of them to add to your hand.

Equipped with his PSI magnet (that he canonly actually didn't have), Ness can heal up whenever the opponent plays spell cards. At first glance, it may seem that his Final Smash is overpowered, but consider that (in most cases... ) "Smash Ball" has to be sent to the graveyard to activate his effect.

Each time a monster is summoned: place 1 reflector counter on this card (max 1). If this card is targeted by the effects of a spell card: You can remove 1 reflect counter; negate the card effect. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: Tribute this monster; special summon 1 "Landmaster" from your hand.

What would Smash Bros Fox be without his iconic reflector? Bringing it to the fields of Yugioh, Fox is able to deflect powerful spells that try to target him. Once he activates his smash ball though, be prepared for his powerful Land Master!

When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: equip this card with 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard that was destroyed by battle with this card (only one monster can be equipped at a time). During your Main Phase: You can send the equipped monster to the Graveyard; This face-up card gains the effect of that monster until the End Phase.

Kirby is one of the few cards I made that only has a Final Smash with no regular effect. Either way, the ability to steal some awesome effects is nothing to ignore. Just like in the games, Kirby can inhale foes to steal their abilities.

Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "Mario" or "Luigi" you control on the field; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. While equipped by this effect, that target gains 500 ATK and DEF. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: Special summon 1 "Mario" or 1 "Luigi" from your deck. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed: Destroy this card instead.)

Yoshi is always there for the Mario Bros. Even though for a while there, Yoshi was getting his own spotlight in Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story, he is mainly known for being Mario's companion who would carry him across danger. With Yoshi, Mario and Luigi had better survival-ability, even using the poor dinosaur occasionally for a free jump out of a pit. Whatever the case, Yoshi still loves them. That's why his Final Smash is a call for friendship.

When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; while this card remains face-up, that target cannot attack or activate its effect(s).

Is that a fiendish chain on legs? Yeah, I kind of had a creative block on this one. Pikachu, being an electric type, is known for frequently causing stunning paralysis and what better card represents that in yugioh then Fiendish Chain?

When this card is destroyed by battle: Change the attacking monster to face-down defense position. The monster's position cannot be changed this turn. When a "Smash Ball" targeting this card resolves: Target 1 other card on the field; destroy both this card and the target, then draw 1 card.

Jigglypuff is quite commonly known for being a balloon and for putting enemies to sleep. Her first effect represents the sleep aspect, essentially book of mooning whoever defeats her in battle (let's face it, sing in smash bros left you wide open). The second effect is more like what happens when Jigglypuff goes POP!

What would an archtype be without a little support? Admittedly, not all of this is actually supportive, but take a look at these other smash themed cards anyways!

At the end of the damage step, when the equipped target attacks or is attacked by a monster: Banish that monster.

Activate only when a Smash monster you controlled was sent from the field to the graveyard: Add that monster to your hand.

Activate only when a monster declares an attack: Destroy all attack position monsters on the field.

Kind of like a weak Mirror Force huh? If you've ever been in an item intense fight, this card might seem appropriate

Reveal all the cards in your hand. Increase the ATK of all monsters you control by 400 points for each monster in your hand. Battle damage you inflict this turn is halved. You cannot attack directly this turn.

Activate at the start of your opponent's battle phase. Reveal your hand to your opponent. Your opponent chooses 1 lv4 or lower monster from your hand to be special summoned to the field. This turn, that monster must be the first attack target of the battle phase.

This card can only be activated if your monster destroyed an opponent's monster by battle. Show your opponent your entire hand, then increase your Life Points by 700 points for each card in your hand.

Cannot be normal summoned or set. Cannot be special summoned except by the effect of "Fox McCloud". You can tribute 1 monster you control: inflict 900 points of damage to your opponent. If this monster is destroyed by battle: Special summon 1 "Fox McCloud" from your Graveyard in ATK position. This card cannot be targeted by "Smash Ball".

Once per turn, during your main phase, while your opponent controls more face-up monsters than you: You can Special Summon a lv4 or lower Smash monster from your hand.

Problem2
bump. I'm going to add quite a few cards later. I have many made already, but I'm double checking to make sure the lore is correct and stuff.
