kalop90
The basis for these cards come from R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms series. It includes three of the "Companions of the Hall" including the main character "Drizzit Do'Urden" Lore: This card cannot be special summoned. When this card is normal summoned, you may search your deck for one "Guenhwyvar or one "Cattie-brie". Once per turn, you may activate one of these effects: If "Guenhwyvar" is on the field, this card gains 500 atk for each warrior, beast-warrior, or beast type monster on the field or in either players graveyard. If "Cattie-Brie" is on the field you may special summon one "Wulfgar-Chief of the Tribes" or one "Bruenor Battlehammer" from your hand to the field. Xi-3
A nice attempt. I've never seen Twinkle and Icingdeath done that way, and I can appreciate what you're trying to do with Aegis-Fang and Taulmaril especially. You could boost more than 500 points, if it seems reasonable for an Equip Spell to do that, since not all of them will be the same. Unfortunately, since your rendition of Drizzt has the same ATK and DEF as Blue-Eyes White Dragon, but with an added effect I'm going to have to call him 'overpowered.' You have two options in such cases: raise the monster's Level, or lower its stats. It really is that simple. You also seem to be going for Search and Special Summon effects. In concept, good as they will have a thinning effect on your deck. In practice, your set so far only includes Tier-3 monsters -- meaning you need to have Tier-1 and -2 monsters on the Field before you can start summoning these guys, and Special Summons are generally more vulnerable than Normal Summons, so be careful about those, is my advice. You can also work on your spelling and grammar. 'Drizzt' is spelled as such, for example. Use number keys instead of spelling them out. Capitalize Summon types. That kind of thing. If you want to see what I did, although it's awhile back already, I have some cards for Drizzt in my Dungeon Crawlers Set.
kalop90
Thanks for the input! (To your Tier comment) I should have put in that these were only a work in progress and I wanted some feed back before I went any further with them as a set. I agree with your standing on Drizzt (I forgot that his name isn't spelled Drizzit and I just read the last book). Again thank you very much for the input. I'm hoping to make this a full blown series if possible!
Academ
Why does it say "Drizzit" on the spells? And I'm ashamed you didn't make a Pikel card! He's the best. On a serious note, you need some lower star monsters. I like this idea though since I love the books Some ideas for you. I want to see results or I'll do them!
