thekazu4u
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; destroy that target, and if you do, increase both player's Life Points by that target's ATK. All damage inflicted to your opponent's Life Points during the turn this card is activated is reduced to 0. -Chainable trap to punish blind MST/heavy -Increases Life Point total, to slow games down a bit and to limit its offensive uses. -Creeps with the ATK power of cards. Zeaux
This doesnt necessarily helps the game. Things like Compulsory Evacuation Device would see more play, and can also target face-down monsters. Not a big deal, but it is more versatile than this. Cool concept, thought. -Griffin
I like that you're trying to help the game, but costless card removal is a bad way to do that. It just invalidates boss monsters - which are a fun part of the game - and is most effective against a player who is behind/doesn't have many monsters, invalidating cool comesbacks - which are a fun part of the game. beamsabre
It's Ring of Destruction in reverse, with a Des Wombat/Waboku effect for one turn. Not bad, but I'd drop the second effect. Chain Bad Reaction to Simochi to its activation, and you get a power boost while damaging your opponent and taking out on of their monsters. Neat.
You are reading this entirely wrong. It says any damage to your OPPONENT'S life points is reduced to 0. So it wouldn't work with Bad Reaction (although they wouldn't get the heal from it). Nor would it have a One Day of Peace effect.
Invalidates boss monsters? By that do you mean give people an out to them that doesn't cost Life Points? Because that was sort of the whole point. Its not like everybody would suddenly get up and say "ey! No more boss monstars mon" if this card came out. If anything, it would be better when you are behind (in terms of LP) and you aren't pushing for a win. Thus supporting the good type of comebacks. Unless you are talking about the sacky topdeck comebacks (where you are trying to come while being being behind in terms of card advantage) then yes it hurts those, but those are just lucksacks 99% of the time anyway. And I don't want to go out of my way to make it a staple, so I guess ill keep it the way it is then.
I never said it was bad, just saying that something like CED would see more use, as it is a staple and better. And you were right not trying to do staples, since (in my opinion) some of them does not help the game. Seriously, Konami, why are these Trap cards so powerful?
Uh, Compulsory Evacuation Device is not a staple. Also, it is not strictly better than this card, as CED returns to hand, while this kills. CED thus works better against Xyz/Synchro/Fusion (particularly Zenmaines) while this works better against main-deck boss monsters like Dark Armed Dragon, Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning and Master Hyperion.
