... This is insanely stupid. Like, I expect significantly better from you.

+0 Beaters that thin the deck by 1 and work with your deck's main goal extremely well while allowing more advantage gain is horrible design. Except, in this case, you get a BRD/Chaos King Archfiend/AFD out of thin air, or a 1-card Investment on Mist Wurm. God, people shouldn't even do once per duel effects because they just say "Once per turn, use a broken ass effect."

You shouldn't be able to pull a +0 2500 beater so easily, especially when it's a tuner with MORE than respectable stats for its level. It's all around bad design and broken as hell, even with the once per duel. It's not like it's exclusive to frogs, that's just the most obvious example.

Being vulnerable in the deck is no more an excuse here than it is for Malicious. Lower the stats to, say, 1500/1000 and maybe then it's not as horribly designed.

Yes, it's certainly a +0 Beater that thins the deck by 1 and works with your deck's main goal extremely well while allowing more advantage gain.

It also is a +0 Beater that thins the deck by 1 and works with an only semi-competitive deck's main goal extremely well while allowing more advantage gain.

As broken as hell it is, it is only so in a particular deck that isn't competitive, and wouldn't be either as long as Chain Disappearance, D.D. Crow and other stuff like that exist. Even with this, they wouldn't become broken either.

Right now Frognarchs often get bad hands, and the "that's cause your build is terrible" logic doesn't work in its case. It's either all of the hand is full of high-levels, or all of them are Frogs/Soul Exchange/etc. and it doesn't clash together in a way that works as a deck. This doesn't solve the only-Monarch problem, but it does solve the only-Frog problem. And they need something like this.

Even if this was released, it would NOT affect the meta in any negative way at all. Neither would it make Frognarchs uber broken. If it would do anything, it would make a half-inconsistent deck much more consistent without being a Rekindling.

By your logic, W Nebula Meteor shouldn't have been printed. Thing was, it's prolly one of the best stuff Konami ever created. Maybe others don't think so, but at least I do.

If this was support for, say, Inzektors in March format, this would have been stupid. But seeing as how Frognarchs are far from competitive, I don't say so.

Also, if you're gonna say "not like it's exclusive to Frogs", give an example 'cause I can't think up any. Of course, I could be wrong and I could be missing something big, but otherwise I'm pretty sure I'm right with making this card.

A Semi-Competitive deck that has enough presence to top a YCS, if not win. Can't recall.

So it's okay because it's broken, because it's not GOD TIER?

I play Frogs. I rarely get bad hands. 9 Tribute monsters, a frog engine, s/t. Works fairly consistently. I rarely have all or nothing hands like you describe.

It SHOULDN'T have been. It's awful card design. And citing what Konami has done is as good as saying you have no argument. I don't care what you believe on the subject because, from a card design perspective, it shouldn't exist. As a section dedicated to creating and designing cards, there is NO argument as to creating blatantly broken things.

If this was support for, say, Inzektors in March format, this would have been stupid. But seeing as how Frognarchs are far from competitive, I don't say so.

You seem to think the Undermeta doesn't exist.

It can go in anything that doesn't fear cloggy hands/"losing" a normal summon. It's one of those stupid "Once per duel" effects, so it's not like they'd run more than 1 copy anyways, could be an interesting tech in places. It's interesting, to say the least, in conjunction with Malicious.

And with that, making blatantly broken things, regardless of the meta, is frowned upon in this section, ESPECIALLY when the creator of the card knows what they did. Lock.
