This card cannot be summoned any other way. No cards can be activate in response to this summon. When a monster is summoned, switch its ATK with its DEF. When a monster is summoned in Defense Position, switch it to Attack Position. When a monster is summoned in Attack Position, switch it to Defense Position. This card’s effects cannot be negated. This card is unaffected by the effects of Spell, Trap, or Monster Cards. Neither player takes damage while this card is on the field. This card cannot be removed from the field except by its own effect. If your opponent controls 5 monsters with different Attributes, this card is sent to the Graveyard. Instead of conducting a normal Draw Phase, each player must draw a random card from their deck instead. During each End Phase both players must shuffle their Deck. Only 1 “Discord, the Chaos” can be face-up on the field. While this card is on the field, you cannot summon any monsters. While this card is on the field, your opponent cannot lose the duel. Anyways, there are no ways to win with this card (i think), but funny as hell when you summon it.... (i put the "your opponent cannot lose the duel" so it can't be abused with final countdown. Xi-1 Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 No they can't: Discord has been made immune to all card effects. He's also effectively protected from being destroyed in battle, so the only way to get rid of him is so summon monsters with different attributes, and not every deck will have monsters with 5 or more different attributes. But at the same time, neither player takes damage while Discord is out, and Discord himself has no attack power. Once the opponent learns Discords effects it would be easy to take advantage of them in order to summon monsters in the mode he or she wants. Other monsters can be destroyed, unless someone uses a Spell like "Shining Protection" from my set. The duel could go on forever! Due to the blanket immunity, and also because Discord's stats are 0, the only way to break the stalemate after this card is out is to summon the 5 attributes -- or by extension use the Elements of Harmony to seal him in stone again. EDIT: So wait, your opponent cannot lose by Deck Out now, but what about you? I also notice that the swapping Battle Position would affect your monsters as well... but you cannot summon any other monsters with Discord out. So then... the only thing to do is hope your opponent doesn't have monsters with 5 different Attributes, because if they do they can set up their Field to take all your Life Points on the turn Discord gets destroyed by his own effect.
