L0SS
Wanted to try and work a potentially interesting/powerful effect into a usable card. Hence, Phobias. I would be interested in hearing how you think this effect would manifest itself in terms of gameplay, would it be too much in, say, an Exodia build? Or could it open up some feasibility for less usable archetypes? Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned from your hand by having 5 or more DARK monsters in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. As long as this card remains on the field, DARK monsters that would be sent to the Graveyard are shuffled into their owner's Deck instead. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having (exactly 5?/5 or more?) DARK monsters in your Graveyard, (and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways?). As long as this card remains on the field, DARK monsters that would be sent to the Graveyard are shuffled into their owner's Deck instead.
I fixed the lore, but there are a few pieces that you're going to have to be more specific on, the ()s sections. Anyways, a Level 10 DARK Sea Serpent Wall with an interesting effect. It's like a Permanent Tourbus except it only works for DARK monsters. What is quite interesting is how it works with your opponent's monster's as well but alas there are a few flaws: 1.) It's just a Wall 2.) It can potentially benefit your opponent to the point where they can use it more efficiently than you. Those are the main 2 problems, besides it being a tad slow. The good points on the card are that it's a Level 10 so it can go into MAX cannon Xyz easy, and it's a DARK monster so it can be pitched for Allure if need be. However, maybe giving it a viable amount of ATK instead of DEF might be a little better, so long as its no more than 2400 because then it could become an easy summon beater. Think about those points.
Thank you for the improved lore. You've made some really valid points. I was unsure whether giving it ATK points would undermine the effect, as I was playing it as a sort of pseudo-continuous trap card. Would making it a 2000-2400 ATK monster be slightly weedy? I don't want leaving the field too quickly, but I don't want it causing too many problems for your opponent either. As for the effect working both ways, I think that just adds to the balance and overall feel of the card, but without taking away playability. But I will certainly try out a few variations. Thanks for the advice EDIT: Just an after thought, but would the fact that your opponent may be able to benefit from it's use more than the owner be an indication of said players skills/deck building, rather than a flaw of the card it's self?
Not really. As you said, the ability to work both ways balances the card out. I’d go for 2000 ATK with this card. It can run over most Level 4 monsters, but also leaves it vulnerable to cards like Cyber Dragon, Gorz, Lightpuslar Dragon, and so forth that are easily special summoned in today’s fast-paced meta. It that case, just switch it to DEF postion. And 3k DEF walls pretty much everything save The Shining.

I'll give it 2000 ATK; because, as you highlighted, you could always use it as a wall if the situation calls for it, but ATK adds more flexibility (the best attribute a card can have, IMO). Cheers.
