You can Special Summon this card from your hand if you control a face-up "Doomcaliber Knight". During either player's turn, when a Spell or Trap is activated: Tribute this face-up card; negate the activating and if you do, destroy that card. During the turn that this card leaves the field, the effect of "Doomcaliber Knight" cannot be activated.

Not really playable...but its a good idea in the right direction. The fact that it can't be Normal Summoned is mainly the unplayable part as it's going to be a waster unless you have Doom cal in your hand, plus not being able to activate Doomcal's effect while this guy triggers is also a downer. Maybe make it so that Doomcaliber Knight "ignores" this guy's effect when it triggers?

I suppose so, but now that it has that Special Summon "no trigger" clause it'll be quite interesting to play. Those stats seem weird though but that's just me. Still, being able to Xyz into a rank 4 or be able to negate either a Spell/Trap or Effect Monster sounds like something that should be left as a 1-4-1 clause so that both are able to trigger their effects since in a sense your loosing a card so your opponent can lose one too. Still, it's a decent card now that it can be Normal Summoned which gives it far more flexibility.
